Review summary
Way too much paper delivered to the rooms. It just ends up in the garbage. I’m not saying it is useless , but this information could be made available electronically. Give passengers free wifi.
Coffee/tea are free in the dining room but you have to pay for it in the International Cafe. Why?

Service and Staff

Waiters/ waitresses in the dining room were excellent. Were friendly and humorous while still doing their job well and professionally.
Hardly ever saw the room steward, he always managed to do his duties while we were out.

Re: Layout. One elevator would take you down to Deck 6 but you couldn’t get anywhere from there. No stairs to go down, the elevator didn’t go lower than 6, so we had to take the elevator back up one or two decks to get to the other end of the ship to get down to Deck 5.
The common areas were clean although the upholstered seats in the theatre were showing wear.
Cabin / Stateroom

It was fine, except the window was marked and foggy and had paint on it.
Ship tip
Stay away from the freebies/raffles/ jewellery promotions. You have to sit (or stand) through a long presentation to receive the item .
No excursion here but a nice little town to walk around. One taxi driver told us there are over 150 jewellery stores in this small area. Many of them are owned by Princess. Large posters at the door offer a super special. When you go in to buy it, you get high pressure up selling. I liken it to time shares in Mexico.
We did not do an excursion but we did take a cab to Mendenhall Glacier. Felt very ripped off by the cab company. The driver charged us $17 pp admission to the park. If you buy a ticket from the dispenser it is $5.
Nice town as well. Easy walking distance from the port. We took the White Pass Yukon Railroad trip. Train up and bus back worked out really well. Saw different things from the bus and the driver stopped for photo ops. Pretty expensive though.
