Review summary

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on this cruise and would certainly take this trip again. The experience of engaging with others from anytime dining is always a plus when cruising, this was no exception. Our favorite Island was Lautoka 100%, a must visit by all.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
One of the smoothest my husband and I have experienced. We took our luggage 3 hours before our embarkment time without any mishaps. When we arrived at our allotted time, each step went smoothly right until we entered our room, no sitting and waiting for anything.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We enjoyed meals at the main dining rooms, one specialty restaurant and the buffets. The only reason I did not give 4 stars is because I was a bit disappointed with the main dining room that meals to accommodate the places we we visiting were not presented either before or after we left the area.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
My husband participated in many more events than I did, this included: ping pong tournaments, basketball, sudoko, lawn ball etc. I participated in Zumba, Family Feud (Princess version), casino, and shopping. Together we attended many of the shows, utilized the fitness center daily and performed in a flash mob dance.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Excellent!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We would like to salute Dominic Mendes from the Casino bar, Kavela Nashitati from the photography department and Rustum Amper from Horizon buffet!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Yes considering it was an old ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was quite comfortable and always well kept by Glennard our cabin Stewart.

Ship tip

Enjoy! If you encounter any problems the Customer Service Reps are there to help resolve your problems (we were charged for some drinks although we had an unlimited package).

Ports of call

Sydney, Australia

5 out of 5
We spent a few days in Sydney and lucky for us our hotel was located across the street from the port. We literally walked our luggage to and from the port. Prior to our cruise we took an excursion to the Blue Mountain with "the Happy Coach", we toured the Botanic Gardens, we took a Ferry to Manly Beach, we took another Ferry to Toranga Zoo, we took a bus to Bondi Beach and we took the train to downtown Sydney.

Mare Isle, Loyalty Islands, New Caledonia

3 out of 5
We would have liked to explore the Island, but only attended the beach. I believe this was the only excursion.

Mystery Island, Vanuatu

4 out of 5
We swam, walked around the Island, listened to the children sing and got one of the "best massages ever" here.

Dravuni Island, Fiji

5 out of 5
We swam, took a boat ride around the Island and hiked up the hill. The view on top of this Island is spectacular.

Suva, Fiji

5 out of 5
We took a private excursion (taxi by one of the excursion companies) to various places on the Island. We treated our taxi driver to lunch and included a nice tip to top off the day.

Savusavu, Fiji

4 out of 5
I did not enjoy this Island as much as the others. When we got into port, the sidewalks we crowded with passengers who just got off the Tenders. In order to get further into the town, you had to use the sidewalks where vendors sold their goods thereby making the sidewalks crowded with onlookers.

Lautoka, Fiji Islands

5 out of 5
My favorite port. We purchased our excursion from Sykmiles Cruises for the Thermal Mudpool Tour and our guide greeting us with a name card ( TTF tour guide Suka). Suka was AWESOME!!!!! along with his driver.

Noumea, New Caledonia

4 out of 5
Took an excursion with a company that accommodated 6 passengers, it was ok. This Island appears to cater to the "rich", did not get the warm welcome we received from the others.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Excellent! Not one problem!
