Review summary

Excellent ports on this Southern Caribbean cruise with a wonderful variety of excursion options at each island. Strongly recommend JJ's Speed Boat Tour (private excursion) in St. Lucia (best port stop); it's a very quick (and FUN) trip to see the Pitons, volcanoes, waterfall, mud bath experience etc., as opposed to an 1.5 hour bus trip there AND back.

Food and Dining

Dining room food and specialty restaurant food is leagues better than the buffet. Buffet is average, could use a menu revision.

Fun pool and thrill activities. They could be opened for use more often (i.e. Flowrider, rock wall).

Entertainment

Initial comedian was above average; following comedian was average. Marquee show was entertaining.

Service and Staff

Top notch dining room and specialty dining service. Room steward was on top of his game, very knowledgeable and helpful meeting our needs.

Ship Quality

Ship is certainly ready for its pending refurbishment; a little rough around the edges but always clean and tidy.

Cabin / Stateroom

Just enough space for two people; we had three so it was a bit of a squeeze but nothing too stressful. Strongly recommend a balcony with a port-intensive itinerary.

Ship tip

Must check out all venues of the ship so you don't feel like you've missed anything- there's a lot to see but definitely dedicate some time to do so!

The island is beautiful, wish we would have chosen an excursion besides the Jolly Roger pirate ship excursion. I do NOT recommend this excursion. They clearly want to fit as many people as they can onto this small 'pirate ship.' Lunch is not included as we expected, ($5 per person) and even then all you get is one burger with no sides. The alcohol was flowing but most of my group was just ready to leave. In fact, two from our group of 11 did leave before departing and was refunded their excursion fee.
