Overall it was a great cruise. For us 5 ports was a little much. If you like a lot of ports then this would be a great cruise or if you want to stay on the ship it would work well too. We love the Southern Caribbean cruise and this is the third one for us as Royal Caribbean has 3 iteniararies down in the Southern Caribbean.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
It is a little hectic leaving out of San Juan. They have different lines to get in but if you ask someone will get you in the correct line. Some bags go one place while others go a different place. Until you get inside there is only one line to get in but once you make it inside you can get into different lines for different categories of cruisers.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We only dine in the main dining room for our evening meal so we didn't eat any of the specialty restaurants. The food and waiters were great.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
We really don't do to much on the ship as far as the activities.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The shows were pretty entertaining as far as the comedians and the main performers. The ships singers and dancers were good not great I'm just not into that as much.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our room steward was great. He introduced himself the first day and then when only saw him when we were walking the halls but our room was always perfect when we came back. The waiters Elmer and Maya were great. We rain into two of our old waiters on the ship and enjoyed visiting with them.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship was clean. I really didn't notice anything that wasn't clean or needed to be replaced.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Room was 1564 was a great cabin. I guess this would be referred to the cabin on the hump. I always wondered what that was but the balcony was bigger than all the rest as it went out just a little further than the rest. It was normal for a Grand Suite other than that.
We have been to St Kitts before and really didn't like it to much. We did the train and the catamaran back and they both seemed a little long. There seems to be more excursions there than in the past so it might be alright.
We went zip lining in the rain forest which was really fun. My first time zip lining and they use a triple cable system that allows someone bigger to zip line. The weight limit on this was 350 pounds so if your larger and have always wanted to go this is the place.
Barbados was a good port and we ended up going to see the history and a plantation and then the beach. The town just outside of the port was not as clean looking and it looked cluttered around just stores all packed in but the tourist area was clean and not cluttered like that just outside of the port.
Disembarkation was quick and painless. We book a suite and this is one fo the great things about getting a suite is the quick and painless dembarkation.
