First cruise so we were giving it a 50/50 chance- we loved it ! The ship is going into dry dock for updates- which is good. Some things did not work- like the hot tubs, only half of the jets worked. Some things weren’t open like the bar at the adult pool- we couldn’t figure out the schedule.

We arrived at the terminal around 1130, there were no lines we went right through and write it to the ship. It was great

Food and Dining

We booked late so our only dining option was the late dining at 8:30. That was too late with kids. Although we did go to the main dining room for night. The food in the main dining room is better than the food on the buffet. That they had plenty of options almost to the point of being overwhelming. The Windjammer or buffet dining room was very crowded on the last day when we were at sea. Otherwise there was no problem finding a table and the lines were not too bad. We did not dying it in a the specialty restaurants, but we did go to Johnny Rockets- wait staff was fun and entertaining. It was $11 for all you could eat additional five dollars for milkshake.
Onboard Activities

There were a lot of onboard activities to choose from. We used the pools, the rock wall and the mini golf course. We didn’t try the flow rider as the kids have tried it in the past and didn’t like it, but the lines did not seem very long. Fitness center was terrific- pretty much anything you could want.
Entertainment

Because we had the late dining, we didn’t make it to very many shows. We did go to the Love and marriage game show which was hilarious.
Children's Programs
Kids are 13 and too old for younger kids program but on the younger side for the teen program which seems to be geared towards older teens.
Service and Staff

This was mixed- we loved our cabin steward, she was awesome. The bartenders were hit or mixed. Inside bar tenders were great, the pool bartenders seemed overwhelmed and some were not all that friendly. The guest relations staff was also mixed- some were great, others not so much.
Ship Quality

Really liked the ship-in fact we booked another cruise for spring break after it comes out of dry dock, with lots of new activities ( laser tag, escape room, sky pad virtual reality dome, etc) ship was always clean- never saw a messy restroom or common area
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was larger than I expected and we were able to make it work with 2 adults and 2 teenagers- for our next cruise, we booked connecting balcony rooms. The decor was definitely dated, but everything was clean and functional. The rooms will be updated when it goes into dry dock at the end of the year
Ship tip
Don’t be intimidated by the size of the ship- it was very easy to get around
Went on the eco adventure which included kayaking, a hike to the top of bird mountain ( not strenuous, about 10 minutes) where you could see the islands and 2 huge blow holes and snorkeling- would recommend bringing you own mask.
We were in group 2- don’t know how they assign but our cabin was on deck 10 and forward. We were ready on time and they were a little bit behind, so we were the first ones off the ship when they called our group. Luggage was easy to find and clearing customs was quick. We were off the ship and in a taxi by 8:45
