Review summary

Overall we thought the cruise was AMAZING and were definitely tempted to book another one while on board. We'll definitely keep Royal Caribbean in mind for our future cruising trips.

We ran out of time before we could go on an excursion in Puerto Rico

Basseterre, St. Kitts

Very nice! Loved that you walked straight in to the middle of town right off the boat. We did the Chocolate Experience and had a blast! Our guide was AWESOME and the chocolate was SO tasty!

St. John's, Antigua

It was a nice port. We were out on our excursion doing the stingray swim and kayak most of the time so we didn't see much of the port.

Castries, St. Lucia

It was a beautiful island! The mineral bath excursion was good. It was 90 mins one way which was really long but we got to see a lot of sights that we wouldn't have seen otherwise. Our tour guide made it very entertaining and the botanic garden and waterfall at the end were a nice surprise. The mineral baths themselves seemed to be less than genuine and very crowded. We would probably choose another excursion over this one if we could have a do-over.

Bridgetown, Barbados

The port had a lot of great shops at the dock and the submarine excursion was AMAZING!

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

One of our favorite stops! The shopping was excellent and the scenery so nice! I enjoyed the Sea Trek excursion but my husband didn't get to participate. We paid for us both to partake but when he tried to submerge he felt like the helmet was smothering him. In the end they blamed him for not being able to go further but we watched a lady in the next group use the same helmet (#9) as she had to come up as well. It was very disappointing and they also made him sign a release saying it wasn't their fault. No discount or reimbursement was offered.

The staff and baggage crew were AMAZING! It made getting through customs so painless and we were ecstatic about being able to get to the airport on time.

Glad you enjoyed the cruise in spite of that excursion incident. Was the excursion booked through Royal Caribbean International? I suspect it was not since the cruise line is pretty liberal in granting refunds for cause.
