We really enjoyed dinners at the main dining room. So much so that we only ate dinner at the Chops Steak house one time. The steak there was not as good as the food we were served in the dining room. That was very disappointing.
The buffet was very good. They opened late for breakfast on days there were excursions leaving early- that was NOT good!

The servers, staff, everyone were delightful and helpful. At no point did we run into anyone that wasn't trying to give their very best effort and best attitude.

Great room. Couch was comfortable. Bed was hard- like all cruise ships... but fine otherwise. There was some sneaky storage sites, so that was very good. Had plenty of room for our clothing and suitcases under the bed.
Ship tip
The dining room was great. Order 2-3 appetizers if you want. 2-3 entrees.
We love San Juan. Both the old forts in Old San Juan are amazing.
Though it's a busy area, make sure to go to the alley with the umbrellas. Makes for great photo opp.
Really enjoyed it. We walked to the old town and famous wood walking bridge. Enjoyed just being down there when boats came through. Also did an excursion to see some sights on the island.
Was surprised that it is a desert island. Enjoyed the excursion visiting different points on the island, so we really got to see the topography and country. Beaches were absolutely gorgeous.
Our favorite spot on the trip was the old English fort Brimstone Hill Fortress. Curvy, steep, one lane road to the top was a roller coaster ride all in itself. The fort was unbelievable.
The port of San Juan section was fine. The organization and notification on the ship as to why disembarkation was being delayed was terrible. No update while we were past our departure time by nearly 45 minutes. Finally just walked off the ship.
