more populated island, and the port itself isn't as picturesque, but gorgeous nonetheless. We did a catamaran/sea turtles excursion and it was very very cool.

we took a taxi to the airport beach and watched all the planes come in. Something to see for sure. Port had lots of shopping and a beautiful beach.

Just to address Autiepickle. We’ve done Eastern which went as far south as St.Kitts (which we loved) and western which hit Cozumel and Belize. In my opinion the islands are much more friendly and less sketchy by far than Mexico. We have had no issues at any port but I feel like if you seen one tourist town in Mexico you’ve seen them all. We are doing freedom on a southern swing in March and can’t wait!

Where did you go with this cruise? Wondering if we should do the mexico route or southern. Heard some things about southern that said it was a bit dangerous to go? Wondering if u had any issues.
