Review summary

The staff was very nice and helpful. I got a bit frustrated with all the charges for Royal Caribbean. I think cruises could allow some things since we pay so much. We only did a couple of Tours and we did them privately. St Thomas Adventure Tours was a wonderful company to tour with. Food was great. I didn't go into any of the shops on ship until after we had already done our shopping and was surprised to see they had better prices on a lot of things than what we got on the islands.

We enjoye karaoke here several nights. It really was a lot of fun listening to the people sing and joke. My granddaughter was 16 and I am 60 and we both loved it.

Ship tip

Don't but the water drink package. It's a waste of money as all water on ship is filtered and available all over.

Ports of call

San Juan, Puerto Rico

We love San Juan, all the Puerto Ricans we met were so kind.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Didn't see much of St Thomas although the granddaughter and cousin had a wonderful snorkel trip with the turtles booked with St Thomas Adventure Tours. St Thomas just seems too touristy to me.

Willemstad, Curacao

We loved this port. The people are friendly the island is beautiful nothing negative here.

Oranjestad, Aruba

Pretty touristy, not bad but yet I didn't really care for Aruba. Probably great for those who want to hang out at the beach.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

People here were not that friendly. A few shops I walked into by the pier didn't even acknowledge me. One girl didn't even look up from her phone when I said hello so I walked back out. The power went out while we were

The last night is usually the best night to shop on the ship. Buy Liquor the first night of the cruise because they have been known to sell out.
