Review summary

The room was nice but the balcony was dirty, light in closet was burned out, toilet seat had not been thoroughly cleaned and the glass railing was heavily stained. On every cruise I have been on there has been a stocked mini bar on every cruise line. Royal has decided to take those away. The in room refrigerator looked like an old dorm room refrigerator. You have to order your drinks for the room, water and cola only! No alcohol and no snacks, the drinks are way over priced and not a very good selection. The refrigerator was very old and would not cool the drinks. The hallway carpets were stained and so were the dining room seats, dining room mirrors were dusty and streaky. The dining room windows were so dirty it was hard to see out of them. Hallway pictures looked like they were bought at a flea market they were so beat up.

This will be our 12 cruise, third on Freedom. We've always had great cruises with RCCL, not good experiences on Carnival or Norwegian. Freedom is a beautiful ship.

I find reviews that are only negative really are not helpful. I’m sure at some point there will be something negative everywhere to note in a review . Helpful reviews are ones that point out good and bad . Really there was nothing you liked at all?

They empty the mini bar so there are no “phantom charge” possible post cruise. The OP is WRONG you can get it stocked with alcohol, it’s just you simply “pre pay” now, rather than “pay as you go”. Frankly I prefer this arrangement.

I know it was 2 yrs ago but the last time I was on the freedom of the seas it was beautiful. Everything was nice in the balcony room we had and we had no complaints.

Folks....this reviews are usually fake to deter people from going on RCCL. There is no cruise history in their profile. Very vague review and baseless

So what's your point? If you think that the ship is new helooo it has 🌊 salt that to makes the window like that and the carpets the can get dirty and stan and seats of couers there kids i dont understand you becouse in the hotels 5 ✨ it happens to
