Do it!
Highly recommend... I would say I liked these ports of call so much better than doing the Western Caribbean. This itinerary felt a lot less hustle and bustle, a lot more chill, and less crowded than the Western Caribbean ports. The Freedom of the Seas: IMO, it is a wonderful cruise ship w/gr8 crew.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Embarkation at San Juan, Puerto Rico was the quickest, easiest of all embarkations for us.

Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Food was excellent at all venues on the Freedom. Drinks I feel we’re too expensive..... you got to give the guys a couple extra dollars when you’re signing off the little chips… Even though there’s a service charge already baked in… But honestly for two drinks of the day, each one was 995, and it up being $25.60. That’s just way too expensive… Probably should have opted for a drink package now that I look back at it objectively.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Personally for our cruise we were on an excursion at every port. For days at sea we rested. But it sure looked like there was plenty to do for everyone on board. I’d give it a five .
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
We really had great service from everyone that we came into contact with. For the three especially most helpful staff on board the ship, we mention them by name as well as made sure we tipped them well for their excellent service S.
Our excursion was to go to the palm island where we did the scuba walk on the bottom of the ocean. Just awesome . The food and drinks were all included… That was a nice touch. All the stuff out the DePalm island, we’re really great
Art scores and was to take the catamaran from the ship to the north side of the island by the fort. There we transferred to a bus that took us to the train, and we rode the railroad the 20 miles all the way back to Basa Tara. Open aired on the second floor of the trade cars… The local school girls singing among us tourists… All the drinks you could drink… What a terrific excursion
