Review summary

Royal Caribbean has been moved to the bottom of my list. NO ROOM should be noisy every night. RC has done a pretty good job in the past on the Oasis for me (x2 trips). There is no way to correct that room other than turn it into a storage. That was unforgivable.

Toilet ran wild. It took ten minutes for mechanic to show up and turn off the water. I spent all that time flushing the toilet as the emergency drain in the floor wouldn't drain fast enough. Room #6579 misrepresented. It did not have a balcony over the promenade. It was a small bay window. This made the room very small. It was also directly over a Beer Bar which had music until after midnight. It was loud in our room. The air conditioning did not work well (too warm). The refrigerator didn't work at all. The ship closed down its buffet and main resturaunt at 9pm a couple nights. We couldn't get anything but Pizza for dinner. We ate too much pizza. Oddly, the ships crew were pretty good. Our room maid TRIED to get things fixed. The ship let her down. Our servers in the main dining room were great. However, I tipped both of them pretty well. Lastly, we had no idea that there was a gay convention on board. 1100 members. They were treated like gold. It seemed if you were straight, you were on the sidelines. Some parents with children weren't too happy. I guess it's still a choice.
