Review summary

My wife and I were on the Freedom of the Sea for our 20th wedding anniversary and cannot wait to book the next trip -- Freedom or Liberty, tough choice! Best cruise boat and staff by far. The staff on board seemed to be almost as happy as guests to be on this brand spanking new boat. RCL is the best. As big a boat as the Freedom was, we never felt crowded or unattended to. The midnight buffet showcasing the artwork by the gourmet staff was unforgettable -- visually and gastronomically. The nightly shows were broadway caliber. Grand Cayman stop was the best: "We survived Sting Ray City."

Ports of call

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
Best port of call. Clean organized and that turquoise blue water...
Don't Miss: Belive it or not -- Sting Ray City. Meet green moray named Phycho (he swims in circles.)

Montego Bay, Jamaica

Too many police in plain view of tourists -- even saw one cop with a bullet proof vest?! What are they thinking here. The way too many vendors were way too aggressive in panning their wares.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
Quite a bit of real estate on the island allowed for some semi-private enjoyment.

Cozumel, Mexico

3 out of 5
Both under and above water damage from the past years' hurricanes were noticeable.
Don't Miss: The duty free prices were the lowest here.

Pros: Friendly staff and fun cruise guests

Cons: Not enough time at the ports of calls
