Last year I cruised on Adventure of the seas, being a new ship I expected more from the Freedom. The ship was beautiful and the staff is amazing. However, I felt the evening activity, nightlife and bars were better on the Adventurer. I also think for such a new great ship, the Freedom should have a better itinerary. The Ports of call were not impressive. Except for Grand Caymen which is beautiful.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We tried various dining areas. We went to the formal dining room, Johnny Rockets, The promenade cafe, Sorenntos pizza, the buffet lunch/dining room, and room service. All were spectacular. Service was great and the food was never ending.
Entertainment

I was not impressed with the bar layouts on the Freedom. Although beautifully decorated and clean. They have a wine bar, you cannot get a beer there. They have a champagne bar, you cannot get a beer there. The cigar bar is great, but there is no bar in there. They have a great bar by the ice rink, however this is where they hold art auctions so you cannot sit quietly at the bar. There is a sing along bar at night, which is so and you cannot get into it. On the Adventurer there was a great sports bar called the 18th hole. The freedom needs a sports bar wit televisions.
Service and Staff

Amazing. THe staff of the Freedom is so kind, generous and go out of there way to service you at any time of day or place. Not bad word an be said about them.
Ship Quality

Beautiful ship. We went on the 13th sailing of the Freedom and the ship looked like it was it's first. They were painting parts of the ship at each port, washing the outside. Amazing the work that these people do to make our vacation a pleasure.
Cabin / Stateroom

The room was a good size and the balcony was perfect. Our room was not completly clena when we got there, two drawers were full of hair and the balcony was dirty. But overall, acceptable. The flat screen tv's on the walls were great and gave you a little more counter space.
Dirty, we were not left alone for one second the mintue we stepped off the ship. I would recommend Jamaice if you booked a tour through the ship. Do not get off and try to do your own thing as we did.
The Royal Carribean staff working on the island were great as usual. Happy, Friendly, willing to help in any way. The activities provided byt he ship were great, even just to look at. The beach was not what you would expect in the islands. There were rocks from the edge of the water all the way in. The water was dirty with branches, trash. Overall, I was not impressed.
