The ship was beautiful - well maintained and the staff was very attentive. Especially notable was the stateroom attendant who remembered our names from day one and went out of his way to meet our every needs. The food was great, although the steaks that I had were not as good as one would find in a good steakhouse. The waitstaff throughout the ship were excellent with the exception of our waiter who rarely smiled and was not very attentive - the assitance waiter was exceptional. The airline reservations made by the ship were terrible and made without any contact to see if we could make the times that the tickets were procured for. Suggest that people book their own air fares so that times & dates are more compatible with your personal needs. The entertainment provided during the cruise was of "Las Vegas Quality and was superb!

First of all, let me say that the boarding experience was surprisingly fast. With a ship that big, we thought we would be standing in lines for quite some time. We were very impressed with The Explorer of the Seas. It had a variety of restaurants and bars to enjoy along with great shows and different dance clubs. Even though we were on the ship for seven nights, I still don't think we did everything! We were very pleased with the adult-only pool area. The ship also offered a great many things for children and we couldn't believe all the activities, such as miniature golf, basketball, etc. We both thought the food was better, both in the main dining room and the cafeteria. This was the first time that we had gotten a balcony room and we really enjoyed it. We would absolutely go on this ship again.

We recently decided to take our first cruise.We took the Royal caribbean explorer of the seas.It was the most wonderful experience for both of us.There was so much to do, even if you did not want to take an excursion for the day the ship offered enough entertainment to keep you as busy as you wanted to be.There were a ton of different little bars and enough ben and jerry's icecream to fill your happiest of dreams!their ice show was unbelieavable! I would have payed for it if it would not have been included.

The ship was very clean organized the staff were very helpful the food was awesome as well as clean rooms so many activities from dusk till dawn the crew was very active with everyone on board and the ship was awesome

The ship was beautiful. As stated the service in the dining room was over and above excellent. I was very impressed with the bed and bed linens. We were told that all Royal Caribbean ships were going to this upgrade. The ship was very clean and I felt very comfortable on board. I would recommend this cruise line to anyone. We took 30 first time cruisers with us, and all came back raving of the good time.

We loved just about everything about the whole experience! I was impressed with how clean the ship was kept and how nice and welcoming the staff were! The entertainment was never ending, we kept busy the whole time. We met some very interesting and nice people as well. We will be cruising again with this cruise line.

The Cruise Ship was beautiful and the three excursions we went on were absolutely FANTASTIC!! The service on the ship was unacceptable. This is my husband and I 5th time cruising and the service was very poor much to our surprise. It took the waitress and assistant approx 3 days to warm up to us. I mean, just to have a little extra conversation etc.. The rest of the main dining room experience was okay. No dining room dancing from the crew and no extra fun. The bartenders were not friendly at all. The cabin stewart we hardly even saw throughout the week.. Usually you get at least a Good Morning, etc. It seems the crew did what they had to do and no more. It was our 10th anniversary and nothing special for us except a coupon for a jewelry store on the island. Wait staff was told REPEATEDLY by my friend that it was our anniversary and nothing. They sure sang to another couple at my table. My friend even TOLD THE HEADWAITER!! The bartenders HARDLY acknowledge the fact that you are there! Why would they? They know they are getting a tip!! Would they not like a BIGGER TIP? The Capt Morgan Sail excursion was the BEST I've ever been on!! Try It!!

A clean and tidy ship with a friendly staff. The entertainment was very good particularly the Schooners Bar. The champagne bar very pleasant for an early evening before dinner drink, so too, was the jazz bar on the 14th deck.

It was a grand vacation!!! Everyone was kind and welcoming. The ship had something for everyone. Only stood in one long line to board tender but other than that everything moved along quickly.

This ship was fabulous. Everyone on the ship were very friendly. My room was clean and well taken care of. You could pretty much eat what ever when ever. The entertainment was great including the ice show. I would highly recommend this ship to anyone. It out did my expectations.

It was my first experience in cruises. However it was a wonderful experience. I had no idea that my vacations could be so good and cool. The food, activities, services were exellent. But the best was your people. The crew is the best! Thank you.

I didn't want to go to the cruise. I thought it is boring. Fortunately, I was wrong. I like everything. I love it!

The ship was beautiful. There was so much to do I did not know where to start. The shows were fantastic and the comedians were hilarious. The ice show was just incredible.

Being first time cruisers my husband and I didn't know quite what to expect except that friends had always told us "you must go on a cruise". It was everything we had heard about and more. Royal Caribbean definitely would be a first choice for us in the future.

This is a huge, beautiful ship that takes you to several beautiful islands. The port calls are short on any cruise, so you will only get a glimpse of what they offer. However, they offer a great value with meals and entertainment included.

The ship was beautiful and had all the accommodations you could imagine. Was not happy with how Royal Carribbean treated us when our original itinerary had to change because of a medical emergency. We choose this itinerary because there were places we had not ever been to before and wanted to visit. Two of the original destinations were taken away from us and one added that we had been to several times before. The tendering process was horrible. Since the ship was not permitted to dock at the port because of our delay, we had to tender to shore. The process was not organized and a huge mess. What a disappointment. The staff on the ship couldn't have been nicer. Friendly everywhere you went and always there to make sure your needs were met.

We cannot say enough positive things about our cruise and the ship we sailed on. The ship had endless activities to keep one busy on "at-sea" days, it had nightlife and shows that were of high quality, the casino was of adequate size and had plenty to offer in regards of selection and types of play, and just exploring the ship and what it had to offer was an adventure in itself. We had a modified itinerary due to a passenger having a heart attack but the crew made the best of it and made a plan that made up for our inconvenience. We will definately do it again and definately with Royal Caribbean.

We've been on this ship it's first year out. The overall experience was a little disappointing. There are obvious cutbacks noted this trip. Fewer staff were visible, the sportscenter/spa had fewer staff available. The large hot tub in the sportscenter was malfunctioning, warm water, most of the jets didn't work. The steamroom was not even hot. The entertainers were very good, but not my type of evening out. Still, it was a good deal and if you aren't too picky about a cruise, this is a good one to take.

I loved the dining room. We set on the second level and could view the dining room below. Was very impressed with the look of a mall in the shopping section of the ship. Our room was great, we had a balcony for the first time and enjoyed being able to go out and see the ocean and ports-of-call. We always had breakfast in the Windjammer, with all the islands of food, you could have anything you wanted. The ship was beautiful.
