A wonderful ship and great cruise

Sail Date: February 11, 2007

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

First of all, let me say that the boarding experience was surprisingly fast. With a ship that big, we thought we would be standing in lines for quite some time. We were very impressed with The Explorer of the Seas. It had a variety of restaurants and bars to enjoy along with great shows and different dance clubs. Even though we were on the ship for seven nights, I still don't think we did everything! We were very pleased with the adult-only pool area. The ship also offered a great many things for children and we couldn't believe all the activities, such as miniature golf, basketball, etc. We both thought the food was better, both in the main dining room and the cafeteria. This was the first time that we had gotten a balcony room and we really enjoyed it. We would absolutely go on this ship again.

Pros: What the ship had to offer

Cons: Less personalization

These people don't budge on their prices and they were very expensive.
Cozumel, Mexico
We rented a jeep and drove around the island. It was very pretty.
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
There was a restaurant built in a pool that was amazing. We had such a good time just having a drink and watching everyone in the pool.
Belize City, Belize
We just went into the shops while we were there. Out of all the ports, this one was more fun if you were trying to bargain with the sales people.
