This was a unique itinerary and we loved most of the ports of call. One day at sea would have given us a break as we were exhausted at the end of it. Redirecting us to Zadar from Bari was not as smooth as it could have been - no excursions to do so we just got off and walked around. Ship is very large so was comfortable. Some of the ports were too small to handle 3-4 large cruise ships at a time (Corfu was the most crowded).

Too many good ports in a short time and too many bad ones at the same time. People want to go to the good ones. Venice, Naples, Greece, Sicily, Rome. Not three Croatia nothing stops that was a waste of time. Definitely one at Croatia would be good, just one. More time in getting and verifying good excursions to the good points. Especially in the more prominent sought after ports like Rome. In general a very nice expensive vacation should not be as stressful as it is. More info and simpler instructions to get where you need to go. Not chaos and stress.

This cruise is port intensive. A great ship to be on as staff was wonderful and met all needs. Only drawback is if you do things on your own avoid the ship transportation even though it is easier. They do not give you enough time at Pompeii and other sites.

This is an older ship and was not up to par. It seems that Royal Caribbean has cut staff and quality of the food and service was poor.

Loved it and would do this one again! Look forward to our next cruise

It was a good cruise. We had a good time. Shows were great.

Overall decent cruise. Had to pay to get to town. Be prepared for a ton of walking.

I've been on several cruises and by far this cruise is the only one that felt like a constant commercial. I can't say enough about our room steward, and dining rom wait staff. Balcony Stateroom 8520 My time dining table 243 Dennis and Dante!!!!

I am a veteran cruiser of 13 cruises. R.C. has good people working for them, but Explorer needs massive upgrading. When asking about broken things on the ship we were told, we report them and put in the work orders, but it's the follow through that is lacking.

The service on this ship was outstanding. Food was great and ship is layed out well. The only issue was the very poor excursion we purchased from Cruisely at Santorinni. We had to wait two hours to board tram up mountain. The tour guide was horrible. Totaly waste of money.

Superior staff. It’s a bigger ship than I’ve traveled in the past. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely choose Royal Caribbean again.

Overall, I would sail again with Royal. It is an older ship but that does not mean anything really. It was clean, Staff was great and the food was way above standard. Every night was a different menu. Buy the food package, skip beverage package and for sure do not by the internet package unless you are right by the router on the main floor.

It was a wonderful cruise & I would go on it again- Disappointed in the WiFi which I paid extra for & go no credit or compensation for & it was HORRIBLE.

The shore excursions were terrific. Croatia is so wonderful loved it

The itinerary was a nice mix of busy port days and relaxing sea days. The ship looked good and the service was great. We got the drink package and got our moneys worth! Overall a really good time 😀

This was a High School Graduation Cruise for my daughter. It was a trip of a lifetime. Everyone on the ship was great and the ports we stopped at were wonderful.

Overall a great itinerary. The port is far from Venice, and it’s expensive for transportation. The cleaning of the boat on a daily basis should be improved cups, and plates were left out all day, long and tables on the deck. We’re not wiped down very disappointed overall in cleanliness.

We really enjoyed this cruise. It was a very good combination of relaxation (two sea days) and adventure. The scenery was beautiful and the cruise service was excellent.

Overall good but Explorer is too big for me, too many people 3300. I like the Rhapsody better.

Reluctant to cruise again and if I ever do it will not be through RC. Port times were not always the greatest, internet was trash inside the rooms, ship dampening could be improved for better sleep comfort, and it is not necessarily the fault of RC but the customers that RC attracts can be rude and unruly and underaged guests are not necessarily supervised or reprimanded for disturbing the peace. Overall, the experience on the ship was generally not relaxing - at worse it was upsetting and stressful, at best relieving and only because we had a private balcony to retreat to.
