Review summary

Overall, I would sail again with Royal. It is an older ship but that does not mean anything really. It was clean, Staff was great and the food was way above standard. Every night was a different menu. Buy the food package, skip beverage package and for sure do not by the internet package unless you are right by the router on the main floor.

Chef Dan is the best! Enjoyed the speciality foods but really enjoyed the quality, variety and freshness of Windjamer.

Rolando was fabulous! I hope the next cruise I take will also have him as my room person. OUTstanding person!!!!!!

Ship tip

you need a balcony to enjoy all the minute by minute views. Buy the food package and skip the beverage package and Definitely don’t buy the internet package because it does not work in your room and really only works right next to the router on the 5th floor.
