Review summary

We love watching the whales and other sea life.  The ship was dated. Some of the amenties from past cruises were not available this time.  No Anniversary special treatment  or treat given.  Menu in the dining room started out disappointing, did get better as week progressed. We enjoy the dining room usually not the buffet.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Dining room menu improved over the coarse of the week. We were expecting more local items on the menu. Steel head fish, crab dishes ?

Ship Quality

ship is dated, bathrooms are rusting and need updates.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Cabin needed updating. Cabin had not been vaccumed before we arrived. Staff did so second day in. Bathroom had rusted sink drain, updating needed in bathroom. No other complaints. Attendant was very nice, and met our needs.

Ship tip

Plan your excursions in advance. Some are available on shore, no need to book through ship.

This is not a port of call, we sat on our balcony and view the beautiful sights. That was fine, but not what we expected.

We were offered a free Anniversary celebration when we mentioned it was our Anniversary during booking. Our cabin steward made towel origami, cake & lovebirds. They also gave us a certificate as well. The celebration is going to be during our dinner.
