Overall I wish I had taken a larger more "alive" ship to these ports. I think Holland America catered to a much older crowd and the music for the most part was boring (the Ocean Lounge had the same soft jazz group play for all 11 days!!). The main show seemed to miss the point (women in music) on several fronts. The food variety was lacking. I likely won't sail this ship again and will pay more attention next time I do sail with Holland America. I think this ship is not well suited for the Caribbean traveler.

Severely missing activities. Finished dinner by 5:30pm/6pm and there weren't any activities until 7pm.......and then there was only one. And Simin Says by the pool was only on sea days and then it was the same thing every day. No variety!

The new show, "Class Act", was boring and strange. It missed the mark in so many ways. The other musical shows were fit for the older crowd. The comedian was good.

Cabin was large and comfortable. I liked the larger shower/tub.
Ship tip
Grab your preferred table and chairs early. Despite Holland America discouraging people blocking chairs, it was very commonplace and nothing was done about it.
We did an excursion and we were not impressed with the ride. We did stop at Turner's Beach for an hour which was a very nice beach. Not much to do in the port.
Nice looking port but there were a lot of shops closed. Maybe because it was a Saturday? We did the Culinary Experience to the Fairview Great House which was great!!
I’m sorry the cruise didn’t meet your expectations. It’s important to do research in advance because there are a variety of cruise lines out there that cater to different styles. I wish you would have had a better time.

I should add that we also experienced some kind of smell similar to a sewer the last 3 days of the voyage. This seemed to be off and on all day. We were on the 8th floor and could smell it from the hallway all the way to our stateroom and inside the room also. Very disappointing for the price. I also noticed that the pillow cases, bed sheets and converter were stained. They smelled fresh and cleaned but were stained.
