As an avid cruiser this was my first cruise on HAL The Eurodam is a beautiful ship and HAL does a fantastic job of serving their passengers.
Embarkation

Ft. Lauderdale is smaller and a bit dated but embarkation was smooth. You're given a numbered boarding card and board accordingly.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

We ate the majority of our meals in The Dining Room and Lido Market. The Dining Room is attractive, clean and comfortable. Food was good with many options. Service staff excellent. We had Anytime Seating and never had a problem being seated without reservations. Lido Market has a vast assortment of good food options, very clean great staff. I was happy the the buffet has servers.

Service and Staff

Almost every staff person we encountered was excellent, kind, welcoming and helpful. Had one 'hick-up' with a person at Guest Service. Room stewards were fantastic.
Ship Quality

Very impressive...beautiful decor, very clean, easy to navigate and great options to sit quietly to read or enjoy the views.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Very nice, clean and comfortable but smaller than comparable balcony cabins on other cruise lines.
Great for those who love the beach...beautiful beaches. We did a shore excursion tour of the island. It was okay but not worth the price. The island small and you can easily walk and see most of it.
It was fantastic, spectacular and more than exceeded my expectations. The ship has excellent documentaries on the TV in our staterooms with excellent information about the history/building of the Canal. Watching them and the presentation in the Main Stage was very beneficial.
