I have cruised with HAL several times and was disappointed in this cruise. I'm not sure if they are headed in another direction but may consider another line.

The selection in the main dining room was limited and I only ate at the buffet for breakfast which was quite good. Dinner at Pinnacle Grill was excellent.
Onboard Activities

The only activity that I enjoyed was Trivia and even that was lacking real enjoyment and not well attended. Most programs seemed to be selling something (eg. The Good Feet Store and Cariloa). Most seemed to center around camera and computer classes. The shops had little and then closed midway into the trip and never reopened.
Entertainment

Too limited with the only stage options being a comedian and a magician. One evening the whole thing was cancelled due to problems with the sound system. The piano bar consisted of two rather young performers playing music not suitable for the average age of the guests. There were no stage musical productions or entertainers around the pool during the day.

Service and Staff

This was the only saving grace on this ship other than in the dining room. The waiters were pleasant but never seemed to be able to get the orders correct. The room stewards were great and able to provide any request we made. The bar servers were pleasant and attentive while not being too pushy.
Ship Quality

I missed the central staircase and felt that the layout was somewhat confusing with the Crows Nest trying to do double duty as a library.
Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was as expected and kept clean by the steward.
