Review summary
We had a wonderful time sailing on the Eurodam with Holland America. The food was fantastic and the overall service was wonderful. We had wonderful room stewards who could answer any question we asked. There were plenty of excursions to choose from but most were fairly expensive for us. If I had a criticism of the excursions it would be that sometimes they seemed rushed and we felt like we didn't have enough time at some of the places to really enjoy looking around. We spent about 2 hours just looking around Glacier Bay from the ship. The captain turned the ship all the way around in the bay so that it was like a panorama view. It was awesome! The other criticism we had was that the pictures they took they wanted more money for them than we felt was necessary. One picture was $80 so we didn't buy any of the pictures they took even though we would have like to have gotten the one that they took as we arrived to go aboard ship. There are plenty of activities to choose from daily so one shouldn't be bored. The Lido Market where we ate breakfast and lunch most often had a wonderful selection of food to choose from. Loved their pastries and the Sweet Shop. We usually ate dinner in the Dining Room which was always first-rate. Had some of the best prime rib ever and got to try some things that we probably would never have tried. I even came home to look up recipes for Chilled Raspberry Soup. So overall, I would recommend Holland America cruising on the Eurodam to anyone. We had a fantastic cruise. So much so, that I really hated to leave and would love to go again.

Ship tip
Have some good walking shoes for not only walking around the ship but for the excursions. If money is any object, set a budget and give yourself a little leeway for those things that find that will help keep the memories alive like T-shirts and such. Take advantage of the sales.
