Review summary

The musical entertainment was wonderful, from duet piano singers to a classical five some to their revues. Don't miss it. A good comical play would be great to add.

I was worried about boredom. That did not happen. Good exercise room to work off all the heavy eating.

food became a little boring after 7 days but that may be just me.

I wish I would have known about all the services and costs on board, our explanation booklet arrived in our room 4 days after we sailed. It answered all my questions.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Needs more vegetables, they offer too much heavy meat choices. Their food stations are not consistent in quality and run out quickly. Guests are at their worst here.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
They have everything, no need to bring games or cards. You don't get bored.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
You need to be sure the staff understand what you are saying otherwise you will be dissatisfied. Bayu in the Lido was very nice and served us well, his first time. Others were less than busy if you take the hint.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

Port side cabin is best coming into the ports. Great room.

Ship tip

Select a dining window but if you want to change any night call for reservations when onboard. Not many Indonesian staff speak very good English . Prepare to use a lot of hand signals. Breakfast in the room is very bland. The Lido food court gets to be a madhouse at times.

Ports of call

Grand Turk Island

1 out of 5
Snorkeling is poor, most of the coral is dead and the fish are mostly gone. Don't know why a ship would stop there.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

5 out of 5
Don't miss El Morro fort. Beautiful and full of history. Then walk thru old town for drinks and food and reasonable shopping.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

1 out of 5
Snorkeling is poor. A boat trip would be more entertaining. Lots of poverty mingled with mega rich. Not a tourist Mecca by any means. Very little time to explore.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

5 out of 5
Snorkeling and beach BBQ. Beautiful beaches, Holland did a great job with this place. Everything is easy, lots of water sports.
