Review summary

The ship and crew were great. I selected mostly based on the rather unique itinerary. Only downside was lack of self-service laundry and prehistoric internet.

Room was comfortable. There is never any extra space on a ship. Only thing that really felt cramped was the shower.

Ship tip

The Tamarind diner was worth every penny. Go in hungry as you will be stuff when you leave.

On the plus side HAL has a great service where whatever you can fit in their laundry bag will be beautifully washed and dried to your specification for as I recall around $9/day. We stuffed that bag full. Does not include dry cleaning. Well worth it and I am VERY picky re laundry.

No self service laundry? 😒Oh no! We are booked on a 16 day cruise in 2 wks. The last Holland cruise we took (August 2015) had a laundry. Internet is SLOW and extraordinarily expensive. That's a real negative. Thanks for head's up.
