Wonderful Experience by JeffB

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

This was a first cruise for us and the ship (i've been told) is the largest of RC's smaller ships. The cruise director and the staff of Enchanment are really the "best". The Captain was "perfect". I'll take the folks from Norway at the helm of any ship -anyday. I did not get a sense of any crew member doing anything but having fun. These folks have long days but Enchanments current team appear to represent RC as though they were the biggest flagship of the fleet. Really, Really, wonderful people.

Great Time on the Enchantment! by Greytracer99604

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

We had a great time on our 8 night Bermuda and New England cruise. Ship was lovely, staff one of the friendliest we've ever encountered, Production singers and dancers the best we've seen. Weather was a bit cool, but that's the price you pay for taking the cruise early in the Bermuda-cruising season. I would highly recommend this ship, itinerary and Royal Caribbean. We would do this same cruise again, in a heartbeat. Added bonus was what a great city Baltimore is! I would recommend extra time there, before or after a cruise, to enjoy the city, the Inner Harbor and Camden Yards.

Mediocre Cruise by DawnB

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

I was on this ship six years ago. I found the service and activities was not nearly as good. It seems cruise lines are cutting back too much and charging for everything. Fresh squeezed OJ no longer in main dining breakfast - now for purchase. Also, we were told by the head waiter we could not get extra lobster. It was small and over cooked- the 4 tiny shrimp were out of the box quality. Our group made our own fun. Shows not very good either. Ports were good. Newport was beautiful.

Fantastic Cruise by EllenC2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

This was our first cruise with Royal Caribbean. We were very impressed and will definitely cruise with them again. The food in the My Fair Lady restaurant was outstanding. We dined at table 152 and our waiter (Noemi) was exceptional. This was our tenth cruise and she was the best waiter that we have ever had. She had an outstanding personality, and is a credit to the Royal Caribbean cruise line. Our only complaint is about the duck tour in Boston. The narrator was fantastic, but the duck seats were horrible. The seats were designed for children and not for adults. The second person in each seat only had a half seat, and the leg room between the seats was extremely tight and we had to sit sideways which was very uncomfortable.

So so cruise by ChrisM5

Very boring cruise. If you do not like dancing or gambling, very little else to do. (Weather too chilly to swim.)

A nice cruise by TimmyA

Was a little disappointed when we were late getting to Bermuda. Then the excursion we had booked was cancelled too late to book another one and could not go see Hamilton or St. George.

Another Great Cruise by Ricd

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

Enchantment of the Seas is a great ship, not too big but plenty big enough to accomodate all passengers. We took advantage of Chops and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were traveling with friends who were 1st time cruisers, and there was plenty to do either together of independently. We were disappointed to learn that Enchantment of the Seas is going in for a "refresh" and hope it returns to Baltimore after this process.

We had a great time on a wonderful ship with hilarious comics (it was hard to catch my breath during their routines) and excellent singers and dancers. The service was phenomenal and the food outstanding.

Stay with RC, but pick another ship by PatrickD2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

We left from Baltimore and were planning on just getting some rest. That hope ended the first night out. A noise much like a jackhammer sounded in a panel in or near our room and the rooms of our neighbors on both sides. It took me the better part of two days of complaining to get taken seriously. Then no admission on the part of the staff that they could or would be fixing it. Promises of discounts and credits on future cruises and ear plugs brought to our door, but never an admission that this noise - which went on and off day and night - would every cease. It's an old ship and there is no much to do. The ports of call were nice but plan for getting out of St. George's in Bermuda - the beach there is $20 pp. The food on this ship is the same, day in and day out. There was really very little change and it just got old. The shows were okay but the movie screen they use for projection was actually a curtain and out of focus. The staff was okay - except for the woman who told me I shouldn't cruise if I had sensitive hearing. When I let her hear the noise that my wife recorded on her phone at 4 am, she stopped in her tracks. RC is nice but I'd look for a ship with more things to do and perhaps one that doesn't rattle quite this much. RC is taking it to dry dock in November. Not a moment too soon.

Enchantment............NOT by Debbie3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

The Enchantment of the Seas is ready for an overall. All areas were etremely clean, but TIRED........out of date. An the entire cruise seemed to be done on the cheap. The food was average, the soup like water. The Windjammer was the same dishes everyday and a mad frenzy like someone was going to starve to death. The Windjammer closed promptly at 9pm, if you got there late, forget it, they did not replinish. The only other alternative was at the spa, which had the same hot dogs, hamburger and rock hard cookies day after day. The only thing not cheap was the drinks...........way out of line. The main entainment was the cruise director, he was very good, but again, done on the cheap!!! The staff was wonderful, very attentive, very helpful. could not have asked for more. We were determined to have a good time and did. The dancing lessons were sensational, hats off to Karen and Charles, the ports were great, however, over all this cruise experience is not what we have been accustomed to in the past. We will look closely before choice Royal Caribeen again. This is our 12th cruise and have always left planning the next one. Not this time. Sorry to be blunt, but this is honest.

An average cruise by ChristineM3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

The ship is a little tired and worn. The main theater was lovely, the rooms need serious updating...though I am told it will be done by this time next year.
