I am a first-time cruiser and had a fanstastic time. The activities were great, the food was great and the service was great. Would definetly recommend Royal Caribbean as a cruise line and would cruise again with Royal Caribbean.

The workers did what every they could to make you happy. My room was always clean and bed made. I would recommend the cruise to everyone.

Best experience by cruisem81932066

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

This was my first cruise. I could not have had a better time. The staff of The Enchantment of the Sea was out of this world. I wish I could have packed my housekeeper Natalie up and took her and my wait staff home (Wayne and Sokiro). I will always take my vacation on this ship. It was clean, food was perfection. I was always scared to take a cruise due to alll the ships you hear of breaking down, but no more fear. Way to go Royal you are the BEST!!!!!

Total Enjoyment by tomorio

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

From the time we set foot on the Enchanment, we did not have to ask for anything a second time. The Crew was marvelous from our Cabin Steward Radolpha, to our waiter Don Don and his assistant Dane, to our favorite Bar waiter Frances. They as well as the other crew members did everything we asked and more.

My first cruise by JoeNavy

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

This was my first experience with cruising (minus the Navy!!). This was just a wonderful experience. Weather was only a little above average but you cannot control that. Crew was wonderful; expecially the stateroom attendant!!! Food was wonderful both in the dinning room and the buffet. Ports of call were all wonderful; Labardee was a wonderful beach; but it did rain on us that day; but again what can you say. Entertainment was outstanding; expecially the magical show; my girlfriend loved it!!! Very well done; and I look forward to traveling with you again; already planning our next trip this time to the Western Caribbean!!

Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

the best part of the cruise were the people working on th ship. they were the hardest working crew i have ever seen. the ports that we stopped at were just ok and the samana of dominican republic we did not even get off the ship as we heard horror stories about the island. the entertainment was very good and the crusie director john was just great. he had everyone involved to have a good time

Royal Caribbean, Excellent as expected by Lovetacruise773

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

We are VERY experienced cruisers so we know what to expect from a cruise. We were pleasantly surprised with our cruise on the Enchantment. It is one of RCCL's older vessels so we weren't sure what to expect. It had just come out of dry dock in December so it was in great shape. So here is the rundown: 1. We actually liked the somewhat smaller ship...very easy to get around...shorter lines in general. 2. Cabin: Just what we expected...we're never in it anyway. 3. Food: Very good...no escargot however (worldwide shortage was the explanation). We are NOT fans of the so-called "specialty" dining as it cannot help to eventually impact the "regular" dining room in an adverse way. I also don't like ANY type of surcharge on a cruise ship. 4. Entertainment: Excellent...a bit of everything for everyone. Some of the best we've seen. The RCCL singers were not quite up to the level we have come to expect. The mid-cruise cabaret by the two female singers was quite amateurish. Other than that no complaints. 5. Outstanding cruise director!! (John)

great cruise by Elizabeth

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The crew bent over backwards to make our cruise great. Entertainment was fantastic. Only downside was they could open buffet earlier for dinner. Ate in dining room at lunch and they had a made to order salad bar that was supurb. We had very noisey room cabin 4039. Under walkway from casino to show. Terrrible. but the cruise it self was great. labadee was unique. loved the beach.

Beautiful Older Ship, Great Personable Crew by OHcruising

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Although the ship was beautiful, very clean with an outstanding crew; the food was just OK, not great . OK selections with OK quality. We enjoyed the evening dining much better due to the waiters, wine selections, and ability to order from Chops Grille. We asked for, and received, a table for 2 with a beautiful view.each night (same table) and got to enjoy talking to the waiters. The entertainment was what one would expect on a smaller ship; i.e., limited.

Wonderful Cruise by SeniorTravelers

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean

Our third cruise on Enchantment. As in the other two, the crew, services and entertainment venues in all instances were excellent. Since our last cruise the Centrum had been redecorated. The bright red and white "lounges" were hideous and impossible to sit in comfortably. If the intent was to create a "bordello chic" look it was successful, but not to many's taste.

9 Day Cruise by MariaGregR

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The size of the bathrooms in the stateroom. Smoking that was aloud in thhee casino. The times when you had to go from one end to another just to get a drink or a light snack. At lunch time when your trying to find a seat to eat you have several groups of people playing various games while people were hunting to find seats.

12 Day Cruise by cruiser76

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple

Great cruise, weather good and RCCI did a god job refurbishing Enchantment of the Sea. We are disappointed EoS will no longer be sailing from Baltimore, and 12 day cruises will no longer be available.

Sad, but true... by Creuisecrew

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean

Very disappointing. Cramped cabin and impossibly small bathroom. 6'2" husband could not bend over to wash his feen. Modern sink useless--too small, faucet in bad position, very little water pressure. Worst feature were the expensive charges on everything--read reviews after the cruise and phrase "nickeled and dimed to death" was used constantly by others, just as it was in our group. If it were not that one of this group was of Indian extraction, we would have had many difficulties. We were 10 travelling together and their facilities did not extend to this. We always had to move tables (round tables for 4 are not ideal when put together for 10). The amenities on the ship were nil--no library! Just several shelves with outdated books in several foreign langueges and some English books of no interest at all. No good place to do a picture puzzle (days at sea in the rain). Not enough seating in the theater and movies were few and outdated. Food in dining room was bland, with few choices, and usually cold. One dinning room entre arrived without being heated at all! Windjammer had better choices, better taste but also always cold. Howefver, the staff (except for guest servic es) was helpful and friendly. except for one young man at guest services, who was patronizing and condesc ending. All in all, could have been better. I've traveled on 6 different cruise lines, and this was the worst.

A good cruise by joesexton71

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This was our first time cruising and the staff did a good job answering our questions.the overall experience was good but we are not drinkers or gamblers so the entertainment options for us were very limited. We were totally disgusted with the port in Nassau a total waste of our time.We went on a 3 hour tour and went straight back to ship. Our room was located near the centrum and were kept up late do to the music being played late.

Enchantment is a beautiful ship, indeed! I found all the crew to be top-notch, always trying to please. Compliment to the Chef's for their excellent Menu's and preparation of the food. Sorry to say, there was NO weight loss on this Cruise.
