Super overcrowded ship and very short staffed. by swimsarah

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

We had to jump thru hoops to get on this cruise only to be packed in like sardines. We hid in our room and wore a mask anytime we left our room. Yes, we now have covid. We will not be cruising anytime in the near future.

Good by beautifuljudyb

Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

It was great could have been better with cruise size and model and entertainment. Definitely not a great cruise director but great employees. All around. Needs more activity of different style and fun parties. Needs to be upbeat more.

Bermuda is an amazing island by pclghs

I loved the ease of cruising out of Baltimore. Bermuda is beautiful and clean. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable about the island.

Great bartender (Paul) and great Windjammer worker (Lettica), Main TV not working and 1:00 curfew for kids under 16 is way to late. by masterblaster78

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

Everyone onboard including passengers and crew members were very friendly. The band (Rockport) was a great band and very friendly. They seemed to have a great time playing. The passengers need to stop wasting so much food and stop being rude to the crew. They work hard and very long hours to please passengers. The main TV at the pool needs replaced. It wasn't working this cruise and in May, it played the same video over and over again for 9 days.

We had high expectations for this cruise that fell short. The Baltimore Port was a total disaster. This long awaited cruise was a disappointment.

Outstanding Service by CullenDuda

We had a great time. The entertainment was fun, the menu at the main dining was great and they were extremely accommodating to my gluten free and vegetarian dietary restrictions. The staff on the ship was outstanding and I am truly impressed.

Very Disappointed by TonyBurr

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Disappointing Cruise on Enchantment of the Seas - July 14, 2022 I have been cruising since the 1960’s and mainly on RCCL since the 1980’s, being a Diamond Plus now. I recently sailed on the Enhancement from Baltimore which is a great port to sail from. I had a balcony cabin. It was the biggest disappointment of all my cruises. The ship is almost 25 years old and is worn and tired. It has rust everywhere on the outside and the balconies. The furnishings are old and worn. There were elevators which did not work the entire cruise, the outside TV was broken, the rock climbing wall could not be used (not that I would), ice and beverage machines were broken. It is just old, and needs a total overhaul if they are going to keep it going (which they are). The crew was very nice, but the training has gone down. In the dining room I sat there one night for 15 minutes and no one approached me. I started to get up to leave when someone ran over. The meal at times was not served in courses but two or so placed on the table at the same time. I never had a meal that was hot. I got tired of sending food back so I just ate it. There was no elegance left there. Overall I would rate the food as lousy. The entertainment was good, but not great. Nothing memorable. I was on the Anthem OTS in March and it was better, and the ship is newer. They do not charge less for the Enhancement, you just get a lot less for your money. Since the 1980’ RCCL has come way down in quality. I am sitting on the Celebrity Equinox right now and it is a WORLD of difference. I guess I have changed lines.

Unexpected by jrod08619

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Cruise.con did not keep us updated with what was needed before leaving. No mention of the extra charges. No mention of Coacay water park. But the Chops restaurant that they gave us free of charge was great

Beautiful Carribean Islands by dietrichlisam

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)

Bermuda was perfect! We did the beach escape and we weren't disappointed. Cococay was outstanding. We did the jet skis and the beach bed. Our 20 year Olds did the water park. Very beautiful!

I've done Bermuda by cherylmance

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

I expected the ship to be more adult friendly. There were quite a few children who were not supervised and unruly. There were enough activities to keep us busy while on the boat and again I can't say enough about the staff. They were very pleasant.

Not the RC Experience I Remembered by jenstone2009

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

One of the five nights, I missed dinner due to card error for my "unlimited drinks" The staff wouldn't accept my card and I was told told to go to wait in line at C/S. The next card error caused me to MISS GOT trivia- only other event I wanted to do, other event Silent Disco which I missed due to being seasick. The weather was stormy so they closed off the outside and canceled shows which is understandable but they refused to replace w/ any additional activities. For instance, I recommended the much liked adult Silent Disco, and they refused saying it took too much time to prepare? There was no ice sculpture, no fruit art, no towel animals (1 night only) like I experienced on other cruises. They ran out of ice many nights, ran out of soda many nights, and the soft serve ice cream machine was broken. The almost $400 "unlimited drink package" carried many stiulations such as 1 drink perperson per visit as well as a 5 minute minimium wait time between drinks. You were forced to pay to text fellow travelers on ship thru their RC App (which needs ALOT of work - never updated in a timely manner or EVER). As I previously stated, many activities and outdoor access were canceled/ closed due to weather and not replaced with anything else, BINGO $50/pp, There was no sauna, no steam room, no rock wall, no working video games in the 'video games' room,. There was absolutely NO COMMUNICATION between staff members in turn NO COMMUNICATION between staff and passengers, NO breakfast offered on day of disembarking (yet saw evidence of some guests received room service(?),... This cruise left alot to be desired as I was a solo passenger that paid double rate and expected much more for $1000 cruise.

Family Time by bradmsant

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

I would have to say that this cruise was disappointing compared to others I have enjoyed on Royal Caribbean cruise lines. The staff was excellent, but the food was poor and the ship is showing its age.

Great deep pools by tbo777

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

We enjoyed this cruise. The pool in the solarium is 5.6 ft deep. Nut a kit of chairs but good planning and you can usually get one. The bar in there is great. Caribbean Cooler. Order that if you have the drink package.

Smaller ship but crew is amazing by laurenepopp

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Enchantment is the smallest and oldest of the RC fleet, but the crew works hard to give guests a great experience. It lacks the features of newer ships but is still a fun cruise. I would not recommend taking younger kids as there is not a lot for them to do.

Old Barnacle Betty! by SDaye

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This was my first cruise with Royal Carribbean and I will not be a returning customer. The Enchantment ship was old and rusty, small, tight, unacceptable for a major cruise line. The personnel was helpful, pleasant and the food was decent.

Great Honey Moon by Un3asyToad

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

We really enjoyed this cruise. Maybe with a bit bigger of a ship and skipping out on the madness at Nassau and it would have been the perfect cruise! P.S. Highly recommend a 10 day!
