Review summary

One of the five nights, I missed dinner due to card error for my "unlimited drinks" The staff wouldn't accept my card and I was told told to go to wait in line at C/S. The next card error caused me to MISS GOT trivia- only other event I wanted to do, other event Silent Disco which I missed due to being seasick. The weather was stormy so they closed off the outside and canceled shows which is understandable but they refused to replace w/ any additional activities. For instance, I recommended the much liked adult Silent Disco, and they refused saying it took too much time to prepare? There was no ice sculpture, no fruit art, no towel animals (1 night only) like I experienced on other cruises. They ran out of ice many nights, ran out of soda many nights, and the soft serve ice cream machine was broken. The almost $400 "unlimited drink package" carried many stiulations such as 1 drink perperson per visit as well as a 5 minute minimium wait time between drinks. You were forced to pay to text fellow travelers on ship thru their RC App (which needs ALOT of work - never updated in a timely manner or EVER). As I previously stated, many activities and outdoor access were canceled/ closed due to weather and not replaced with anything else, BINGO $50/pp, There was no sauna, no steam room, no rock wall, no working video games in the 'video games' room,. There was absolutely NO COMMUNICATION between staff members in turn NO COMMUNICATION between staff and passengers, NO breakfast offered on day of disembarking (yet saw evidence of some guests received room service(?),... This cruise left alot to be desired as I was a solo passenger that paid double rate and expected much more for $1000 cruise.

Embarkation

Getting into the Baltimore Port Parking lot was a nightmare.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
The staff was wonderful and did everything to improve experience but the food was atrocious.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Most activities were cancelled!

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Shows were canceled as well and the main show that was postponed was not worth the wait.

Children's Programs

1 out of 5
Video Game room was basically NON-Existent. Rock climbing wall closed due to weather.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Room attendants and dining room staff were top notch. Other customer service areas could have learned a thing or two from them!

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
Old and needed updating. The décor was very outdated and nothing was updated to current status. The "video game room' was a joke! Had maybe 2 games and one didn't work! Ridiculous that they advertised it as an asset.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
It was clean but some toiletries were not provided. There was only 1 towel animal (last 2 cruises I went on had a different one every day and I looked forward to it).

Ship tip

Pick a newer ship. Very little to do except spend more money. Even BINGO was not included, was $50 each time. There was so little to do people were waiting in long lines to PAY FOR BINGO!

Ports of call

Baltimore, Maryland

1 out of 5
Needs an engineer to process incoming passengers. Outgoing was a breeze. But getting into the port was frustrating to say the least.

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

5 out of 5
Wonderful port. It was clean and welcoming and simply beautiful.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
This was ok except they offered no breakfast before leaving which was sorely missed.
