The pros: the dining staff and room staff were fantastic. Great personalities and service!!!

The cons: I will preface this by saying I realize that Royal Caribbean does not control the weather. Having said that...due to weather they cancelled the 1st day at Cococay due to "weather". Barely an apology to the circumstance other than announcing that we were going straight to Nassau. No added activities no added anything to make up for the missed day of port. Due to weather being so rough we then tried to cancel our day 2 excursions because it required a 45 minute boat ride (originally described as a "short" ride) and given the miserable time on the boat due to weather we just wanted land. We were told no because we were trying to cancel in under 24 hours and that was policy. Interesting they can cancel when they wanted due to the weather but we can't. We were made to rebook a different excursion with a shorter boat ride or upgrade from the $85pp we spent to a $250pp to atlantis or else we could just forfeit what we paid. So we choose the short ride for $69pp and we're refunded the $15 difference. So went to the excursion area in the morning only for them to cancel this one as well at the last possible second. This left us scrambling to try to find a place on land for a day pass. All this and not one I'm sorry or acknowledgement from the cruiseline that we didn't get to do any of our excursions. I completely wasted my money on this trip. I would give it zero stars if not for the great individuals in the dining room and our room steward who were just great personalities. I will definitely not be recommending Royal Carribean.

The dining was excellent in My Fair Lady! All of the staff were so pleasant!

The rooms were all clean. The biggest downfall was missing out on Coco Cay Island because of the weather. However, on board the ship, our children noticed how rude a lot of the other guests were. We would be waiting in line at the ice cream, towel rental & on 2 separate occasions, people just pushed their way in front of us! I think it would be nice of your staff to call these people out on it & say that "you wait your turn, this person was here first"

The service is great by susanortegave

The  service is great, our waiter Dwight and assistant Julian were absolutely fabulous and helpful, and many workers in general are very attentive.but the ship is a bit outdated, I thought RC was above Carnival, but the Ships of both are about the same. I will try Norwegian next time. Thehing the shows. entertainment (shows) on board were kind of boring, had more fun at the Karaoke than watching the shows. The embark and disembark process was a bit slow and the long lines of people that wanted to eat post embark were frustrating, they should

Royal Caribbean 4 night cruise! by Colefamilycruis

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The service on this cruise made the whole thing worth while!  The dining room staff of Eduardo, Fredy, and Jefferson were OUTSTANDING!

We were a family of 4, 2 adults, and a 16 and 17 year old, and the stateroom accommodations were great, didn't make us feel boxed in at all!

The only thing I would say that could be improved would be the communication for shore excursions.  For those of us that have never taken a shore excursion before, the information provided on the tickets/paperwork differed from the television channel as far as time, places, etc.  It was a little confusing to know where to be, at what time, etc.

All in all, I would take this cruise line again in a heart beat, and recommend it to friends for sure!

Our kids said this was their "best vacation ever!".... Thanks BJ's and Royal Caribbean!

This cruise was great. Accommodations were very nice. The dinners were great and the server staff was outstanding. Our cabin was always clean and the rear suite had a balcony that we used regularly and was very quite.

Atlantis was great. Like Coco Cay. Although the tide was out. The ship was nice the food was great. Key West so-so. Don't need to go back. The length of the cruise was about right.

Loved sailing to Florida by leonorfrias

We loved Coco Cay Key West and Miami as well. Would do it again, the weather was great, too bad had to leave. Maybe in the near future. Wished we could have spent more time at Coco Cay as we enjoyed the beach. enjoyed the food as well.

Excellent cruise by shaunitaervin

Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I have cruised on carnival and Norwegian before but Royal Caribbean tops both of them.  The food and customer service was excellent.   There was nice entertainment on the boat and very appropriate for the 30 plus age group.   There weren't alot of kids on the boat which I liked too!

The ship needed and overhaul looked a little worn. The cabinet attendant was very good ,her name was Patricia very, very good. The food in dinning was ok , the food on top deck was much better. Don't think I want to go  on The Enchantment of the Sea again.

Great Weekend Getaway by MICruiser2427

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Took the three day cruise out of Miami to Cococay and Nassau. Departed on Friday, returned Monday morning.

Pros:

* Perfect size ship - holds about 2000 guests. Never had to wait for a table for food, a spot at the bar, or a pool side chair.

* Excellent food quality and quantity: good selection for a cruise ship, lots of places on the ship to eat, main dining room meal food was plentiful and menu was varied.

* Activities: Lots of planned activities, but also enough to do on the ship that we didn't feel we had to pay for excursions to fill our day

* Guestroom: we choose the interior stateroom. Bigger than expected! Lots of room for the two of us, and we appreciated all the mirrors.

Con: (only one!)

* The bed. It was like sleeping on a board and the pillows were flat. We would recommend bringing a pillow from home if you have the room.

Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and we would do it again in a heartbeat. We met several couples that worked in Miami and set sail for the weekend - we are from the Mid-west, so talk about jealousy! It was a great experience.

Great get away by handhpools

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This short cruise was a great winter time get away. The weather was warm and sunny. The staff was friendly. We stayed in a junior suite and it suited our needs for four people. We only had one issue on the cruise. We pulled out of terminal 11. We returned to terminal 1. There was not a shuttle bus and we had to walk over a mile to get back to our car. Hauling suitcases that far and pushing a wheelchair was not cool!

An ok cruise by lori79143518

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The ship is well appointed and our stateroom very nice- and well attended by a lovely lady named Pricilla. The food services, however, were not up to par.  The cruise line utilizes a food supplier that is also a supplier to many nursing homes and hospitals and the finished product shows it.

Royal Caribbean - Enchantment of Seas by maniguda

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The cruise experience was decent. However, the agent with whom the reservation did not coordinate with the cruising company that well. Our agent was supposed to communicate two important pieces of information to them - we are vegetarian couple and on a honeymoon. She has made a note of it in the reservation but this information was not relayed to the cruises. She had also mentioned to us that there would be something special done for us on one of the nights but there was no such special night.

I had to wait the first day during dinner and get special meals cooked for us. Also, while everyone were celebrating their anniversaries/birhtdays in the main dining hall with special attention to them, we had to just look at them and not enjoy our special occasion. It would have probably been easy for me to book a cruise through the company and not through the agent.

A Much Needed Break by cdavis18717376

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

My wife and I had not taken a cruise since 2003 when she was 5 months pregnant with our first son. 13 years of raising 2 boys later and it was time to return to the high seas and enjoy some alone time together. What a great decision to return to Royal Caribbean.

After all these years it is still a great cruise line and the food and destinations are still amazing. The best part is that we were able to get a great vacation in the form of a long weekend since our jobs and kids do not allow for extended vacations at this time in our lives.

We appreciate all from IHG and Royal Caribbean who made this trip so magical.

Review by fayzedout

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)

I requested a fridge in my room for my son who has anaphylactic allergies to a lot of foods. I called a few weeks before the cruise and I was assured that there would be no problem to have a fridge in the room. I brough special food for my son so he would be able to eat and not have an anaphylactic reaction. When we got to the cruise they told me that there were no fridges left on board. I explained to them that I reserved a fridge through my reservation that came through jet blue and they said they never recieved an email!!! I was outraged and upset bc my son was in dire need of a fridge. That couldn't do anything for me because they didn't have any fridges left!!! I would like to have someone from jet blue cruises to contact me immediately about this. My son was hardly able to eat ANYTHING and all the food I brought for him spoiled!!!!! This is unacceptable!!! And this is a very serious matter. I don't know if u know anything about anaphylactic allergies, buts it's serious stuff. I would like a response to this issue asap.
