First Time Cruisers by LisaH16

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Royal Caribbean has done a wonderful job on the Majesty of the Seas. Although we did not see it prior to the renovation, we loved the layout, decorating themes, comfort, cleanliness, and 'fun' touches such as the soft-serve ice cream machines on the pool deck. Even my daughter noticed the 'cool' carpeting pattern used to decorate Sargento's pizzeria. Each area of the ship had a distinct environment, which really made us feel like we had room to roam and explore, rather than a feeling of being confined on a ship. The service from the wait staff, room stewards, bartenders, and entertainment never faultered. Their energy level and sincerity made us feel like we were their first and only clients. I was expecting a shortage of deck chairs based on some comments I had read in other cruise reviews, but the Majesty had more than enough loungers in both the shade and poolside.

Nice Cruise by DanielJ1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was 2nd cruise on Enchantment and first since the addition. The Ship is beautiful and the staff is friendly. Food was excellent and plentiful. We had a balcony room for the first time (we have had four other cruises) and we loved it. Worth the extra money if you take the time to enjoy it!

Good first time cruise by LisaL17

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was our first cruise and overall a good experience. There is not enough information to First Time Cruisers. We did not know that beverages in the refrigerator were $4 a drink! The cabin steward just let us assume they were included.

A Good cruise by JayN

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Cruise was about as expected. Captain seeemd very good and participated alot. Cruise director was fine but as with most got to be annoying quickly. food was decent, as was service. deck chairs were scarce on days at sea and excursions were tiresome waiting over an hour to get off the ship.

we enjoyed the ship and the ports we visited. The food was excellent and the service was very enjoyable. The shows were first class and our favorite was the entertainer on Wednesday night. We do not recall his name. The activities offered alot of different choices

Fun and relaxing cruise! by MarciaW1

Sail date: / Traveled as:
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The ship was large but easy to get around. With the friendly staff always available to help you, we were enjoying ourselves at the pool area, in the dining room, and in our cabin. The only thing I missed were the late shows after dinner. We choose the second seating for dinner, so we could enjoy the ship after the port calls. We missed three of the shows, because they were at 7:00 pm. There just wasn't enough time to unwind from the day outing and dress for the show by 7:00 pm. Please keep the shows after the dinner!

Fun cruise to a new destination by PatK5

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was our 1st time on Enchantment and it won't be our last. we love the walkways over the pool area. We would do our morning and evening walks there. The Champagne Bar was nice. The activities and staff on board where excellant as usual. This was our 9th cruise with Royal Caribbean and think this Ship is as good as the new ones.

Trip of a Lifetime by JudyE1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was our first cruise, so I really didn't know what to expect other than what I had been told by friends who had taken cruises. Everything was better than I had been told. The ship was beautiful, there were always plenty of things to do if you wanted to take part in them. The food was fabulous and the service couldn't have been better. We will definitely take another cruise in the future.

A great cruise by SherryC2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple

We have sailed on Carnival ships twice. We felt there was less smoking allowed on the Carnival ships and the entertainment was longer and more of it The Enchantment ship was nice but much prefer Carnival.

Good Experience by CarolynB12

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This cruise was one that had many 'firsts' for us: first time we drove to the port, first time we've had traditional dining seating, first time cruising on Royal Caribbean. The ship is awesome....our cabin was spacious....good use space to arrange for storage. The food was extra good...the top deck buffet is the best we've ever had...both in presentation and taste. The entertainment was the biggest disappointment. The lounge performers were mediocre at best and only one production show actually made it to the stage. The ship seemed 'dead' between 9 and 10:30 each evening. Crew was good and very helpful. We'd probably not choose to cruise Royal Caribbean again because of the set dining times. Other than that, the cruise was a good value for the dollars spent.

OK but not as great as i expected by JW

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The ship was OK, although the elevators were somewhat slow. The gym could have been much bigger, or at least have some more equipment. There was a bit of a smell to the hallway in the inside hall way rooms. The main areas were very nice, though.

Had a great time! by SharonR11

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was my first cruise and it was spectacular. The food in the Windjammer and the dining room were excellent. Would have been nice to have some warm treats in the sweet section of the Windjammer, particularly breakfast breads. The service was excellent in the dining room, staterooms and all over the ship. A little difficult to get a spot in the hot tub and the deck chairs needed to be occupied early. The shows were wonderful and very entertaining. The drink service was excellent. Almost no waiting in line except for disembarking at Ocho Rios, but the tours were easy to catch. It was a little more difficult to get in the right tour place at Grand Cayman because the guides told you where to go, but didn't lead. The balcony room was spacious and the shower was excellent. We never wanted for fresh towels. Only wish I had many more days of the cruise to keep enjoying the relaxation. Thanks for a wonderful experience!! I will definitely go again.
