Cruise got off to a very rough start. by Dee5

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

If the ship is having mechanical probloms maybe it should be pulled from the fleet and given a complete tune up.

Ship was clean and large. Overall, the staff was not as friendly and eager to help as Carnival.

Enchantment of the Seas 11/15-11/19 by EZ75242005

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The ship has been overhauled and the new additions are nice. The solarium is a nice spot to relax though the "no children under 16" rule is ignored by passengers and staff. This was my 5th RC cruise (10th overall) and not my favorite by a long shot. The food and shows were average and the staff less attentive than the others I have been on. This was OK for the price but for a great cruising experience I would look elsewhere. The best so far has been Celebrity.

A wonderful cruise by ChrisF15

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was our third cruise with Royal Caribbean and the first with the Enchantment. It was a very nice ship with wonderful dining and the Windjammer cafe was also great. The staff of the Royal Caribbean is always top notch. The pool area and solarium also were very nice as well as the gym, shopping and getting around the ship was not difficult. Royal Caribbean is our favorite cruise line!

To be older, it was a great ship! by StephanieF2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

To be older, the ship was great. There were a few minor cosmetic flaws, but they were easily overlooked. If I had brought my kids, I would have spent the extra money to be on the "Explorer". We noticed that this ship's kids' place was not real nice. However, for the two of us, it was great.

the best yet by KevinA3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Iv'e been on 11 cruises now and for some reason I liked this one the best. Its not the best ship by any means, but there is something about it that makes it unique. Its a different layout than usual and the crew was all friendly and smilling all the time. The pool area blows away all others {all it needs is the big screen}.Its just a very special ship I can see why they gave it a second life.

A new cruise experience by CraigP2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was our first cruise without our kids, and we found the ship to be perfect for our anniversay trip. The Ship is big enough to offer whatever we needed, but small enough not to overwhelm us. We enjoyed the option of the quieter more protected solarium pool area, as well as the fun of the main pool. The spa was first rate and the gym was never crowded. The main dining room was very elegant and felt that most tables had an ocean view.

"We discovered our inner fun couple" by Carrie2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This ship was big enough to offer a lot too do while still being initimate. It was expanded a few years ago and I'm glad. Its probably not a boat we'd take our kids on - we'd pick a boat with more water activities and larger kids areas. Some areas were in need of further upgrade (like bathrooms in the staterooms) but the items were fairly minor. There were more smokers on this cruise than others I've been on, which impacted enjoyment of some areas but there were plenty of non-smoking areas.

"A well-named ship!" by PeggyK4

Everyone - from our cabin attendant - to our concierge - to the dining room staff - to the people in the shops and the spa - could not have been more helpful and attentive. They made everything we did a pleasure.

Overall a fantastic vacation by NathanC79489737

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The Enchantment while not the newest ship definetely has charm and was very clean. Ft Lauderdale is by far the easiest port to get on and off your ship at. From the time we parked the car to the time we were in our cabin was a total of 30 minutes, In reverse from the time our color tag was called to the time we were back in our car and out of the port was once again 30 minutes. The drinks were fantastic and very strong! Cozumel was a slight let down, as the hurricanes have damaged the coral and not many fish, however Belize definetely made up for it - fish EVERYWHERE like swimming in an aquarium.

THE GREATES FUN EVER by YanaG1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

It was the third Cruise for me and second for my family. What I like the most? I like that they have clubs for all people. They have a camps for kids, different ages, they have a club for single people (which I think is very nice) and of cource they have a lot of things for a family. We had fun during all 5 days. When you are on the ship there something is going on: fun games in swimming pools, evening shows, late night addults show, competitions, dancing, casino.... It's only where we have been, but I know that there were more, I just could not be at 2 places at the same time. lol I also liked the cabin. Because we spent all time on the boat or islands, we came into the cabin only to sleep. It always was very clean and very comfrotable bed. I have been on the other Cruises and the beds were so narrow that I was afraid that I will fall down and a bed for my son was so law that I bumped my head all the time. On this ship we had very comfortable beds for all of us and my head was safe. lol. I love our stuff: they are very friendly and proffessional, with a sence of humour.

Indeed a great and Relaxing Cruise by IreneD1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The first time we ever sailed on the Royal Carribean was in 1974 on the Nordic Prince a 2 week cruise. Just wonderful, 33 years later and after trying many other cruise lines we decided to try the Enchantment of the Seas and it was just great. It was a family vacation and a couple great friends of ours joined us. We enjoyed the whole aspect of this ship. In a few words YES we would sail on the Enchantment of the Seas again at a later date.

Had a GREAT time!!! by JamesT9

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The ship was very nice and clean. I really enjoyed hanging out by the pool during the days at sea. The dinner's were great and so were the desserts. At night we ate pizza and cheeseburgers at 2 and 3 in the morning after hanging out in the numerous bars/lounges. The casino was fun but ended up losing my money.

Our first cruise by BettyN1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

It was our first cruise and we will book again. Our stateroom attendant was excellent when it came to keeping our room in tip-top shape. Our head waiter, waiter, and assistant waiter could not have been any better. They encouraged us to try different dishes we might never have tried before. They were absolutely wonderful. Even my husband is ready to book our next cruise.
