"We discovered our inner fun couple"

Sail Date: October 22, 2007

Reviewed: 9 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

This ship was big enough to offer a lot too do while still being initimate. It was expanded a few years ago and I'm glad. Its probably not a boat we'd take our kids on - we'd pick a boat with more water activities and larger kids areas. Some areas were in need of further upgrade (like bathrooms in the staterooms) but the items were fairly minor. There were more smokers on this cruise than others I've been on, which impacted enjoyment of some areas but there were plenty of non-smoking areas.

Pros: Very relaxed, fun atmosphere. Food was great, very good service. Shows were fantastic

Cons: Despite overall upgrade, some parts of the ship showed their age...but these were minor issues.

Recommends Enchantment of the Seas? Yes!

A very fun ship.
Key West, Florida
Had a short time - which was fine.
Cozumel, Mexico
Our snuba was cancelled due to strong surf. The port city itself is ok for shopping. 2nd time to Cozumel - would look for cruises with other ports in the future.
Belize City, Belize
We picked this cruise to go to Belize - did the Tropical reef snorkel and Sunset Beach. Sunset Beach was a treasure...very relaxed, NOT overcomercial or overcroweded. Rentals, food, drinks very reasonable. Kayaking in mangroves was great, peaceful. Would have loved a second day to try another excursion...too many good things to choose just one.
Don't Miss: This tour...but wanted to do the cave tubing and jungle cruise too.
