Review summary

It was a wonderful cruise. We planned the cruise to get away and rest. Have had a very busy year for us. My husband and I each read 3 books during the trip. Loved the crew this trip.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
I believe the embarkation was far more streamlined this year with all of the new protocols in place due to Covid

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We preferred the dining room but took some meals at the buffet.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We enjoyed trivia contests and entertainment at the Schooner Bar. It was one of the venues that was reserved for the fully vaccinated.

Entertainment

We spent our evenings in the Schooner Bar for the musicians and trivia contests

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Very friendly staff. One nice thing about the smaller ships is that you get to know the staff.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
There is a lot of rust showing in all areas. The ship is showing it's age but it is a lovely old ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The cabin was a good size for the two of us.

Ship tip

Remember to bring a motion activated night light.

Ports of call

Baltimore, Maryland

5 out of 5
We love Baltimore. We can drive to the port. The bridge limits the size of the ships which guarantees that we will have a smaller ship.

Charleston, South Carolina Did not visit port

Did not visit this trip but have in the past. It is a lovely town and a great place to take a walk if you have not signed up for another excursion.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas Did not visit port

Was traveling with a person with limited mobility so we did not leave the ship

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
I think it was more efficient that in past years. I hope they continue with the practices put in place because of Covid. It was especially nice that we were able to wait in our cabins until we left the ship. Did not see the long lines that we normally stand in.
