Review summary

This was a great cruise and a much needed get away. We loved getting to know the friendly staff and look forward to trying out sailing on more Royal Caribbean ships in the future.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The Enchantment of the Seas is a fairly small ship, so the activities were limited. There were a few pools and hot tubs, a fitness center that had everything you would need, and a climbing wall open a couple days, but overall there are larger ships that have more activities like mini golf and a basketball court and water slides.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The entertainment was very enjoyable with talented musicians, skillful singers, a comedic juggler, and a couple of comedians. The main shows were enjoyable and they did a good job of engaging with the audience most nights.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The crew members were all wonderful and took great care of us. We always saw people going around cleaning and making sure we had our needs met.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Everything was clean and well maintained, but there could be better filtration around the casino to keep the smokiness from permeating into the stairwell adjacent.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The room was kept in great condition and always cleaned well. The only issues being that the bed was very uncomfortable and the shower was very small and hard to move in.

Ship tip

Bring some good books and spend time in lounges listening to the music

Thanks for the review. Glad you had a great time. I'll be on Enchantment for the Apr. 2 So. Carib. cruise. Looking forward to my first cruise after Covid. I was a 'semi-regular' on Grandeur. Love cruising.

Thanks for the review. We will be on the Enchantment in 20 days for the first time after sailing on the Grandeur many times. We’ll be curious to see the similarities and differences, but it sounds like it’ll be fun!
