Review summary

We’ve been on much better cruises and better boats. If you take a cruise on this ship be prepared for a very dated ship

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Pretty good getting on the ship

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
The drinks were very expensive on this cruise. The meals were disappointing. Breakfast at the my fair lady was always cold. We ended up eating at the windjammer buffet so we would have at least a warm one. I was also disappointed the windjammer wasn’t open for dinner

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Mainly the pool and shows at night. The pool was good the shows fair with exception of the comedians they were great

Entertainment

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
The waiters at dinner for our table 228 were great

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
The ship is very dated and in need of a restoration with ep to date electronics. Tv in the room which was a suit was tiny, no phone charging ports. There was a rusted out hole in the metal around the sliding door I joked to my wife was a rat hole.

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
Clean but dated

Ship tip

Be prepared to step back in time to the 80’s

You went on an older ship. We went on the Enchantment in 2009 and loved it. I know there have been many changes since then, and I'm sure it's not as bad as you say. We loved it, back then and I'm sure we wouldn't mind going on again. Cruising is the best vacation ever!

I assume the 1980 comment was sarcasm. I am finding much newer ships that seem to have some maintenance issues, most likely due to Covid cutbacks and loss of income. 19 more days until the Panorama and good food for a week.

Thanks for the review. I’m not sure a ship that first sailed in 1997, had 73 feet added in a major upgrade in 2005 and a refurbish in 2012 would be considered a step back in time to the 80s.
