Review summary

5day cruise to Progreso and Cozumel. Very relaxing and quiet time.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very quick process boarding the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Food was never hot in the buffet. Children unattended grabbing food with hands and poking the jello... staff didn't seem to mind these things as it happened every day.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
If you just want to sit and relax, this is this ship for you! If you want something to do onboard, you will find yourself very bored. The trampolines were closed all week because it is too windy where they are located. The rock climbing wall was only open for about 3 hours on sea days and both times they didn't open... so the only two attractions were closed all week. The hot tubs were full of kids all week, even in the adults only tubs. Staff didn't enforce rules.πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows are great and one of the few things to do onboard.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Everyone was very friendly and attentive. We did wish they had enforced some rules around the ship, but assume they didn't want to anger any guests.

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
The ship is VERY DATED and there is SUBSTANTIAL RUST around the decks... Much more than any of the ships we've been on on our last 12 cruises... they were constantly repairing things while onbaord and would block off large sections of the outside decks for the whole day. Didn't feel safe going barefoot.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Cabin was very dusty. Much smaller cabins than Carnival. Bathroom was so small you could NOT sit on toilet without knees hitting the wall in front of you, forcing you to sit sideways. BEDS WERE HORRIBLE! So hard and thin.

Ship tip

If you want a quiet ship to lay out on a chair, this is a great ship. If you want a variety of activities, look at other ships.
