Review summary

This was our first vacation without any kids. We were pleasantly surprised at how relaxed and at-ease we were without the kids with us. The seas were the smoothest I have ever experienced. The 5 day trip was just right for us. I highly recommend this trip.

My husband has commented several times that he would book any cruise that stopped at this island twice in the same trip. He loved the laid back pace and relaxing atmosphere. I took a nap under the palms with a cool ocean breeze blowing over me. Other passengers "chased" (trying to get close enough for a picture) the largest iguana I have ever seen right past my lounge chair.

Loved the port, however it was really hot at street level. We did the Shipwreck Museum and Aquarium for our tour. It was entertaining and informative. Glad I did it, but we probably won't do again (just because BTDT). If we had known we could have rented a golf cart to tour the island, we would have done that instead. I don't remember the restaurant we ate at, but it was upstairs and the black bean soup was DELICIOUS! We saw a brief glimpse of Duvall Street - we're not drinkers, so we weren't impressed with the crowds or bars. I'm sure it's fun with the right group of people (i.e. not us).

We went to Blue Lagoon. It was secluded and did not feel crowded at all. We would do this tour again.
