Review summary

Had a great time on our very first cruise. We look forward to sailing with Royal Caribbean again soon!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Being in a Royal Family Suite had its perks, and embarkation was absolutely one of them! It also helped to check in online and fill out the information that you could ahead of time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dining room was outstanding, every single night! We got a few steaks that were overcooked, but they were more than happy to prepare us new ones! Chops Grille was delicious for breakfast, and I would highly recommend trying it out. Windjammer was decent, we just don't really like the feeling of buffets!

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Pools were MUCH too cold for our liking, and people were hoarding time in the hot tubs which got frustrating after a while. We found that the rock-climbing wall wasn't open very much, due to rain an safety concerns. The dance and theme parties were a lot of fun for our group, and the other people on our cruise made it a blast! I enjoyed going to trivia activities, although I didn't ever win! ;)

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure that we were having an awesome experience. We could not have asked for kinder or more helpful staff members!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship is clean and well-maintained, but could certainly use a makeover. I think more people would be willing to give Enchantment a try if it were given a little bit of a refresher.

Cabin / Stateroom

Ship tip

Try to look past the older and more worn looking parts of the ship and appreciate the closeness you can feel with the ocean!

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

5 out of 5
Embarkation and debarkation were beautiful and smooth in this port!

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
Blue Lagoon was a lot of fun for our family!

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

4 out of 5
LOVED CocoCay, but had to head back to the ship after only a couple of hours. Were disappointed because we were looking forward to snorkeling on this island.

Key West, Florida

3 out of 5
Walked to and from the "southernmost point" for a picture with our family. Wish we would have tried out a hop on/hop off tour
