Review summary

I would recommend The Enchantment to our friends and would definitely come back to visit her. It was our first cruise and all we really planned on was to relax and have fun, which we did both. Good laughs and met some good people on there.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Had a small line to get on the ship but wasn't bad. We just chilled on the 4th level of the ship till we were able to go to our cabin.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dining and Chops Grille were awesome. Windjammer was okay. Windjammer gets very busy, not saying main dining doesn't either but nothing like windjammer. Really enjoyed The Viking Lounge and the R Bar. The Viking is a quiet place to just sit and take in the view of everything around you. R Bar is where a lot of entertainment takes place day or night.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The only thing we did was hang out at the pools. Yes, we did enjoy them especially the Solarium pool.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Everyone was so awesome. They did an excellent job every day/night.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service was just awesome from the waiters, room steward ( Milroy) and every crew member. They made sure to speak with you as you passed them.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was fine. I know I've read some negative reviews on the Enchantment but it's an older ship and that's just what it is. They maintain it well for its age. For me, I'm always concerned about the restrooms. I'll give them a 10, every restroom was clean and in my book that's awesome.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
I had read the inside cabins were small but for my husband and I it had plenty of room for us. He's 6'3 and never hit his head. Our cabin was cleaned twice a day and never had an issue with anything. In fact, my husband needed an extension cord for his cpap, left a note on the mirror and when we came back to the cabin there was one for him to use.

Ship tip

My tip would be to relax and have a wonderful time. Don't try to fit every thing in far as the activities, you will wear yourself out and that's not the point of being on there.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

5 out of 5
A lot to do there. Sorry no excursions.

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Did no excursions but just got a feel for the area. Walked around some before heading back to the ship.

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

5 out of 5
Did snorkeling and it was easy getting on the tender and getting back on it to get back to the ship.

Key West, Florida Did not visit port

We were rerouted to Freeport since the hurricane hit the Keys.

Disembarkation

Wondered bout this but my mind was put at ease by their procedure. It was easy and really didn't take too much time. It took longer to find our luggage than anything.
