Review summary

Time away with family is always wonderful. While this ship is smaller than the ones I have cruised on Royal before, it still offered enough time of activities and time of getting away in quiet time together without noise. Of course, CocoCay is amazing - beautiful beach and water for snorkeling.

Ship tip

Be aware of the events going on in the Viking Crown Lounge and the Spotlight Lounge; because of the size of this ship, there are loud parties at night in the Viking Crown, so not as quiet and secluded as on the larger ships.

The Atlantis aquaventure was excellent. The trip to the park was long, and it is also a long walk once you get there, so be prepared to stand in line and take a long walk, but once you are there, the fun is amazing. Definitely ride the rapids river. Also, if getting a locker, be aware that only credit cards are accepted.
