Review summary

This was our first cruise.  We had seen some people saying that the ship looked old and run down.  I am here to say that we had an amazing time on the ship.  The food was awesome and the service onboard was impeccable.  We said that we will go back on this ship in a heart beat.  For those that complain about it, I have a feeling that they are the type that view life as half empty anyway.  I would recommend this ship to anyone, especially first timers like we were.

The cabin was large enough for the 4 of us to move around and it was clean and enjoyable, though we usually were only in it to change or sleep :-)

Ship tip

Take advantage of all there is to do while onboard and don't waste your money on specialty dining unless you want to celebrate special occasions. The main dining room was awesome.

I have read the same details regarding the ship. Glad to read your review. What excursions did you do in Nassau? We are going in 8 days and I am worried about Nassau.

Thanks for the update on the ship, some people do post stuff and we have been so worried about the same thing! Thank you all for the great input of your trip and wonderful pictures, were on the count down and sometimes I would read things and just about cry. I think we are going to have fun as well thank you again, packing today!!

We were on the Enchantment of the Seas in 2012 out of Baltimore. The ship is a little worn. I believe it's going to get an update soon. One suggestion might be if you book another cruise stay away from September and October, that is hurricane season in the caribbean.
