Review summary

One of my favourite parts of the cruise were the onboard shows, the dancers and singers especially! Also enjoyed kareoke and the scavenger hunt on the last evening. The bar staff were phenominal, serving us to the 9's, going above and beyond my expectations. Couldn't do all the activities I wanted to as many activities running at the same time as another so couldn't get to everything I wanted but what I did get to I enjoyed. Would like to see MORE from the theme evenings; 70's night was really fun but could have been carried over into the disco but 80's night was over much to soon in the disco; again I was busy doing another activity so missed it. :-( Overall, the cruise was wonderful, great to see our old haunts (ports) again that we (as old cruise ship staff members) hung out in 20 years ago! and of course wonderful to see old friends and meet new ones due to the reunion!!!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
By the last day the food lacked luster; could have been because the cruise was winding down. Overall though the food was much enjoyed.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Missed a lot due to conflicting activities that were all going on at once.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The singers and dancers were amazing however didn't really enjoy the other acts on the ship. The guy in the piano bar was good but used to much electric piano, just play the piano and sing.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Yes John the barwaiter!!! and Jorge, the barwaiter....incredible service! They both made our trip very enjoyable...always smiling! Jane our waitress in the dining room was great but by the last day could see she was ready for us to go home.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship was clean but noticed could use some painting and work on the sides of the ship! Overall though the ship was very nice; loved having the 360 view from almost every room one entered.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Comfortable and clean and adequate for the needs of sleeping and cleaning up before dinners, etc. Our cabin stewardess was wonderful and very friendly!!

Ship tip

The starlight lounge is a great place to go for the activities; make sure you take part in Kareoke and the Quest at the end of the cruise. If you want quiet go to the Solarium, adult only pool, however the one drawback is that it is covered so it can be quite hot in there, no breeze but pool cool!!

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

Nassau, Bahamas

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

5 out of 5
Make sure you grab a chair early especially if you want to sit in the shade, or some shade! Share snorkeling gear if you are able as the cost adds up. Must try the signature drink over there!!! It is delicious!

Key West, Florida

5 out of 5
Lots of places to explore. Check out Ernest Hemingway's home!! Especially if you appreciate cats...there are hundreds of them!
