Review summary

A good opportunity for family bonding, despite weather that did not cooperate.  Good food, good service, and a variety of activities on a ship that was in better condition than its age might lead one to expect.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The windjammer was frequently chaotic. Decent buffet food with wide variety.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Decent range.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Newlywed game was entertaining and trivia games were fun.

Children's Programs

Does not apply, unless you count the mob's of Argentinean tweens roaming in packs.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Renaldo in the Chop Grille did a nice job, as did Max and Mark in My Fair Lady.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Not the newest, but perfectly acceptable.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Excellent service from our cabin attendant. The shower was a wee bit small.

Ship tip

Enough choices to keep adult children entertained, and enough opportunity for peace and quiet to meet rest and relaxation needs.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida Did not visit port

Easy enough to get on and off.

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
A bit of shopping an a quick visit to the straw market before retreating to the ship to dry off.

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island) Did not visit port

No idea. Couldn't dock.
