Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

Cabin type: Inside

Review summary

The ship was well maintained. Our inside room was clean and quiet, although really small which was not that big of a deal since we spent little time in the room. The staff was courteous and efficient.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We used the our time dining and liked that very much except if we did not arrive in the diningroom early, we had to eat at at table for two. We really liked having different people with which to visit.

Again, the rating is a little lower because of the small theatre

Cabin / Stateroom

Ports of call

Bar Harbor, Maine

Acadia National Park was beautiful. The lobster dinner was great but the group ahead of us took too long to eat, and our time was cut short by 45 minutes

Portland, Maine

We went to Kennebunkport, which was ok.

Boston, Massachusetts

We took the trolley tour and then walked the Freedom Trail. Sometimes the trail is hard to find but it was fun to see all the historic places. Do your homework before you go on the Freedom Trail!

Halifax, Nova Scotia

Peggy's Cove was beautiful as was the drive there. Our guide was quite informative about historic events in Halifax. The hop on and off bus was good in Halifax.

Saint John, New Brunswick

We went to St. Martins. The guide, Lorraine, was a local and her stories were great!! The fish chowder was really good in St. Martins.
Don't Miss: A tour with Lorraine

Pros: I liked the shore excursions the most

Cons: The most annoying thing was that the theatre is too small and in order to get a sea t for the shows, you had to get there about an hour early Getting off the ship for the excursions was not very organized and having our passports checked befor coming back into the US was a nightmare!!
