Review summary

This was my second cruise on this ship. I was on the inaugural sailing years ago before they expanded the ship.Since it was a Central/South America cruise it was very geared to things latino, which was great! They had salsa, merengue and tango lessons and in the evening music to practice your new dance steps.

Ports of call

Santa Marta, Colombia

I loved, loved Taganga. Stop by Hotel Bellena Azul, order some drinks, relax on their beds or chaises and get a mini massage. Best kept scuba diving secret in the caribbean in this area.
Don't Miss: The statues of the Taironas Indians along the beach in Santa Marta.

Puerto Limon, Costa Rica

We hired a taxi for several hours and went to the canals at Tortuguero and Mas X Menos (grocery store) to buy coffee and Lizano Salsa.
Don't Miss: Get a massage and a pedicure at the kiosk just after you leave the ship!

Cartagena, Colombia

Don't miss the Botero statue, Palace of the Inquisition and Portal de los Dulces in the old city.
Don't Miss: Go to Casa de Las Cervezas for an Aguila and some bocadillas.

Oranjestad, Aruba

All beach areas around Palm Beach are great.

Pros: Santa Marta

Cons: Library could have been better supplied.
