Ports of call were good but the ship experience was very poor, likely my last Princess Cruise. Going back to Royal Caribbean.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
Felt like an animal, checked in and then hold us up in a room for 30 minutes before getting on the ship
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Never attend main dining but Buffet was limited in variety, the food that was there was good though
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
There was none to speak of. Rough Seas on the first 2 days resulted in production shows to be replaced by borderline funny comedians
Entertainment
1 out of 5
There was none to speak of. Rough Seas on the first 2 days and the last 2 days resulted in cancellations and were never rescheduled. I heard the Ships band play approx 12 songs
Children's Programs
1 out of 5
Was none
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
This was the bright spot of the Cruise
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Not impressed with design but was clean and well kept, but it did just come out of dry dock recently
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
It was comfortable and clean. On most ships this would have been lots big enough but, due to lack of entertainment we seemed to spend more time in the stateroom than we normally do.
Booked a half day with Dora the Explorer. Tous our Guide was very knowledgeable and made us feel very safe and had all the answers to all the questions our group had.
Visited a Hacienda that was very interactive. Had some local home made juices, lots of local food made right there, milked a cow, watched them train Parade horses, listened to music and dance
Wow. The weather wasn't perfect, so they couldn't do some of the shows that could have injured the dancers, if done. You never ate in the dining room, so the food was bad. You had no children, so they had no programs. We just did that cruise on Dc 18 and we were never bored. Maybe your expectations were looking for a RC experience.
Wow only 30 minutes to board the ship and that made you feel they treated you like an animal? Can you really judge the food on any ship if you never ate in the dining room? How many children did you put in the children's program, just curious since you said they do not do any activities with the kids.
