Review summary

A great cruise for relaxing due to several at sea days. The spa was superior with excellent massage therapists. The only downside was the pressure to buy product.

Embarkation

Boarding was several hours late due to an ICE inspection

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The Crown Grill was spectacular. The main dining room had variety and better food than on other ships.

Crown Grill

5 out of 5

Great atmosphere and incredibly good food.

International Café

5 out of 5

A great way to get a tasty snack fast. Good sandwiches and cookies.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Several pools to choose from but not enough ways to have shade.

Lotus Spa

5 out of 5

The thermal suite was relaxing but overpriced.

Entertainment

Service and Staff

Excellent service and willingness to go out of their way to help.

Cabin / Stateroom

The mini suite was perfect for 15 days but the couch was very hard.

Ports of call

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

5 out of 5
The teqilla trading was informative and the folkloric show was good and not stereotypical.

Huatulco, Mexico

3 out of 5
The Amazing Eco adventure was lame. The descriptions talks about going by canoe and it took more time to get in the canoe than it did to float on the pond.

San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua

4 out of 5
So many street vendors and poverty.

Puntarenas, Costa Rica

4 out of 5
To long of a drive to see sloths in cages

Fuerte Amador, Panama

3 out of 5
Long drive to see the locks from land. Informative but the small shop in the Old canals might be a better choice.

Panama Canal Transit

5 out of 5
Beautiful and interesting trip.

Cartagena, Colombia

3 out of 5
The hop on hop off is only useful if you want to see the new city. The tour of the old city was awful. There was a free tour and those guides seemed to provide a lot of information.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
I know they are trying to move a lot of people but there was a lot of rudeness to endure.
