Delay in L.A., beyond control of cruise line. They did everything possible to make passengers comfortable and keep us informed of progress.

We had a specialty dinner in both Share and Crown Grill. Both were exceptional experiences. But, food in Michelangelo Dining Room was just as good, including filet mignon, and larger selection. Specialty restaurants good if you want the ambiance.

I let the ship pick my balcony cabin. It was on deck 10 near mid-ship elevators and stairs. No noise from passageway. We had an extended balcony. Approx 9' across x 10' deep. Enough room to stretch out in reclining deck chairs. I will definitely select this cabin or one near it if we travel on Emerald Princess again.

Ship tip

Entertainment venues filled quick. Plan accordingly. Self-service laundromats are helpful.

We are doing the ocean to ocean Panama Canal in November 2020 on Emerald Princess. Any special excursions we need to check out?
