Review summary

If it wasn't for such horrible service in the dining room I would have given the cruise 5 stars. We had any time dining so were seated at multiple tables throughout the cruise. We only had good service 1 night. I am not sure if we would have gotten better service throughout the week if we had a set time for dining or not. The entertainment they had on board was interesting and varied, there was something for everyone in our group (14 of us aging from 2 to 70). The rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful and a few went above and beyond to help our group enjoy ourselves. I would definitely recommend going on this cruise to others, but with a warning that the chances are good that they will have bad service in the dining rooms.

Aside from the dining room the staff was GREAT. Conrado was an amazing room steward, Edward in the cigar lounge was knowledgeable and friendly, Daniel in the bar went above and beyond every time to make sure every passenger was having a great time.

Skip the paid excursions, you can get a cab to take you where you want to go and get a tour along the way for a lot cheaper.

We've done anytime dining 5 times now and only ever had exceptional service. Yes, seated at a different table every evening, but always got the table for 4 we requested. No complaints at all from us but sorry you felt disappointed ð

interesting about the anytime dining, we have anytime dining in August, and also my first time sailing on Princess. I usually get anytime dining, and normally we gets the same server during anytime dining, well on Carnival. Have to check that out on Princess. Thank you for sharing.

We do assigned dining all the time now. You have the same wait staff every nite, they get to know you, and our service has always been great. Once, food was late coming out of the kitchen, but not the servers fault.
